Met this chick at the park

My dog ran up to her and her dog as she was sitting on a blanket reading

She was loving on my dog so I sat down and started chatting

I leaned back into my elbows in the grass with my legs out instead of closed off crossed legged. Maybe trivial but I've been in the situation at the park a lot so I think about these little things.

We're bantering a bit, she's smiling but I know I got to escalate and redirect the convo to flirting. She has an accent and was acting shy about it so I just say "don't worry, it's like 45% cute" Just a slight escalation but she liked it.

Anyway, it's been a few minutes and I felt like the convo was becoming too friendly so I decide to close and just go "so are we going out tonight or what?" With a smirk.

She smiles and goes well what am I going to do with my dog? She was in-between places at the moment. I recognize the "concern" so I say he can stay at my place with my dog while we're out. Boom. She's in. Set the time, exchange numbers and I walk off.

Anyway, that's in a few hours. So later on, I'm buying some beers to stock the crib and there's this hot milf in the liquor store talking loudly to the clerk in an extroverted way. So I ask her what kind of seltzers do girls like. She walks around a bit and picks one out. I tease her a bit about her selection and then tease her a little about her outfit. She's digging the attention and we're bantering, then I ask her name. She puts her hand out for a handshake and I shake her hand and say "do you want to go make out in the smoking area" (this store is connected to a bar) just fuck it mode.

She smiles and says her husband is in the car waiting for her. I leave and sure enough her husband says hi to me as I pass the car lol. Hey dude!

So the time comes for the date and I'm focusing on not being an asshole and ruining the date which has been a problem of mine. It goes well, we bar hop, we're walking hand in hand, and she's snuggling to me. Eventually she's like "we need to go to your place now"

Well another problem of mine is getting wasted on dates (amateur shit, I know). I'm wasted. We walk to my place and start to get to business but whiskey dick comes on heavy and I can't perform. She's begging to be fucked. Oh well. Better luck next time champ.

She leaves but I'm blacked out pretty much and don't remember how it ended. She left something at my place so she comes over at like 8am to get it. She's like "sorry for how I acted last night". I'm just like "huh?" She goes "never mind" and walks off. I'm still kinda drunk. I text her "you're hot" and that was that

I was kinda bummed about the whole thing but I'm focusing on the positives and how much progress I've made in 6 months of dating and asking strangers out

Just need to cut out the drinking.
