I normally don't go in and hit on them right away. Usually I'll find something to compliment them on and start there to gage their interest. Something like, "Hi. I just wanted to say that I like your tattoos. Where did you get them?" Depending on their reaction I'll ask for a number after that.

Doing the things you like to do, and meeting a woman there who do that too BECAUSE she likes to do that. Can be hobby, sports, working as a volunteer,go to concert or go in a band or choir yourself. Join church, disco, ballroomdancing, some kind of training or a course, joining first aid like red cross, volunteer in the nabourhood or with children and everything you like to do yourself, Ofcourse it helps when it is something where you will be meeting women hopefully in your "age".

And socialize with this people, invite them on your birthday, bbq evening and special-days parties. And go to their birthday, parties, bbq evening and special days-parties.

Just sum up the courage and go ahead and approach normal girls and ask for their phone numbers. Keep simple and straightforward
