The fact that you ended your post with " but I'm black" means you really havent accepted yourself in a way that many people will find attractive, self improvement should still be your number one goal no matter where you move. Dating, sex, relationships they're all about you adding value to someone's life and them adding value to theirs, you gotta know what it is you're adding

You're unemployed and 24yrs old. Life will hit you fast when you least expect it. There will be a time where the people who you depend on won't be able to support you anymore. Get a job and improve yourself and the girl will come in after. You need to get comfortable with yourself first because trust me girls pick up on these emotions if you're not feeling confident. An ugly guy with confidence, who is in shape, got a career going on could easily get a girl not hard.

I have a degree in engineering technology and some job experience, and I don't consider myself to be ugly, but I'm black, I have ADHD and social anxiety.

This is something that I see so much these days and it translates into "Why should anybody like me? I'm fucked up, you know". That's a very valid question.

I would hope you're doing something to manage your ADHD and social anxiety so that it doesn't prevent you from living a life you enjoy, and is fruitful and happy. If you aren't, you should.

I'm black, and I don't consider that a limitation; I'll leave that to other people who want to utilize some kind of weird, warped worldview. You don't have to look like a movie star to get girls, and you don't have to be a certain race. You do have to be confident, value yourself, believe in yourself and your ability to connect with people. And don't rely solely on online dating. That's a mistake.

Women will not read your mind. They will not see you sitting alone and say to themselves "That guy looks like he needs me. Let me go to him before some other girl does". You have to go after what you want and not be desperate about it.

Confidence can be built. You can learn how to make small talk, how to converse, how to flirt, and how to ask for what you want, but you also have to learn to like yourself, and get away from this "something is wrong with me" mindset.

Look into the topics you're struggling with and see if the approaches put forward in resolving them work for you. If they do, take it and run with it. If it doesn't, discard it and continue looking. Challenge yourself to do things outside your comfort zone. If you're in so-so physical shape, challenge yourself to be a little more fit. Challenge yourself to make some small talk with a stranger or two every day, especially women, but not just women. It doesn't matter if the person is older, younger, married, or single. The objective is to get comfortable talking to people, as well as listening.

Lastly, I also read guys saying they would have approached a girl, but she was in a group. Why is this bad? That's an environment where she can feel as safe as she can be. If she rejects you in front of her friends, or even embarrasses you, so be it, but you will have tried and you will not die. It's possible you might get rewarded for showing your confidence.

If you move, you're still taking the same old you. Start making some changes there before doing anything else.

I have ADHD. Yeah it makes dating hard but the advantages are:

-Really easy to be “distant” because you probably forget they exist -If you own your weirdness, you’ll probably attract a lot. When I’m hyper focusing on my hobby’s, I will slay -You probably aren’t internally confident but you’re so “shot” you seem confident but you really do not understand social cues

On a side note, or rather more important note, you should probably focus more on a job than pussy

I understand your frustration brother I was a virgin not too long ago but you should work on yourself first, unfortunately women in our society expect a lot from men so you can’t really expect to get laid without a job, then focus on yourself and improving your image, try being the most confident you can, I’m the ugliest guy I know and I’ve been able to get laid with women I never imagined I would ever get, it’s all about confidence and practice, just get a job first bro
