Depends how they wing. Wing women are great for entering groups. Also a wingwoman can open up a group of girls with less resistance then you can (from my experience).

Now, a negative thing about wingwomen. Don't let her "talk you up" to other girls. This can make the girl feel awkward, it will seem to the girl that you sent your wingwoman to talk for you because you're too shy to do it yourself.

This might not be the case but I have seen situations where a girl asks to be a guys wingman when she really just wants to hang with him for the night to have for herself.

Just a speculation from previous experience.

Oh and it is a good idea.

They can be great wings, albeit usually unwittingly. Simply being around another woman, and making her laugh and enjoy herself, is a great demonstration to other women that you're a likable person. In a bar, one decent-looking woman chatting with you is better than five guys.

The Wing-woman can be a slippery slope. In the last few years, I've befriended women I was semi-interested in who all claimed to be great 'Wing-women' - ultimately speaking, I ended up sleeping with all of them, destroying friendships and losing a really useful wing. How? Why? I suspect that on some level the very same leverage that I had meeting OTHER women while in their company was working in reverse. Depending on how much they boost your game, there may be side effects... No matter what, Have Fun!

I have had several wingwomen around and I’ve seen friends with wingwomen and I can tell you this:

It doesn’t take more than one man to talk to a woman

Yeah, I used to Dos Equies guy quote but whatever. I find that most of the women are not very witty, they are just straight forward. It’s like an ice-breaker. Having the balls to approach and no fear of rejection will be way more beneficial.

The good thing about having wingwomen/women around you is that it shows the other girls that you:

Are not a social retard

Have talked to a woman before

Are not some creep

I find that having women around you is no different from having a group of guys, AS LONG as you are all having fun. I remember being with a group of 14 guys at a bar. We were actually having a blast, there was no trouble and we were in our own world. We were basically the center of attention at the bar and a table of women approached us invited us out with them; other tables (mixed genders) would approach us to see what we were all about.

Most important part: have fun when you go out. Sometimes when you’re having fun/in the zone…stuff just falls in your lap.

I think women are just as good as men. But just to indulge, my most recent one wing-woman hooked me up with a girl I wouldn't have had a chance with, in Paris. So that's pretty good.

Yes for the most part. My friends girlfriend (keyword girlfriend) is always bringing girls for us to talk/dance with, or even finding them for us. Another one of my friends ( a girl) insists on maintaining a platonic relationship but is always jealous when we bring other girls around.
All bs aside yes it is a benefit.
