He's confident and he doesn't care about the chicks he's banging. It ain't rocket science. You don't need money or looks to get chicks. They help, but they're far from the main reason you'll get laid.

Leagues apply to you but not him, since you are the one who believes in them. Men do not have to be equally attractive PHYSICALLY to women to get them (although looks definitely help). A lot of attraction with women is how you make them feel. He doesn't need money or a car...your friend has better game than you...so he does better than you do. You are valuing the wrong things when it comes to being good with women. You plainly don't understand running attraction or having good game.

BTW, being tall is something that helps men with women. Women are supposed to be thin and men tall...blame society (it's not my personal judgment).

Mark Manson's book "Models" covers this. Mens attractiveness to the opposite sex is based on their behavior (confidence, for example). This is why your friend can do so well while the guys at the bar dangling their keys trying to get women can't. They know that they are compensating their wealth for their lack of confidence. To sum it up: your friend has the right attitude and demonstrates confidence (behavioral traits) around women, making him attractive and appealing to them.

As others have said, looks and wealth will help, but if you aren't confident and lack other attractive behavioral traits, you will not have much success.

Don't know how old you are but for him, his age helps. He has got 3 decades of life experience behind him which means he has developed skills such as confidence, social skills, and solid inner frame.

With that being said, you can be a total filth slob and still rack up 9/10's as long as you have...you guessed it--GAME.

I have experienced the same thing with my closest friend
I asked him for advice and he literally said "IDGAF what they think. I just do me and that's it. Yeah I got slapped in the beginning, yeah I still get cold stares but it's a numbers thing, the more you approach the more you get lucky" ie. If we apply maths here (sorry) and you get 1/10 girls, you have to talk to 20 girls to get 2 ect. You get the point. This is what he means by numbers game.
You said it yourself, he doesn't care. He's confident. He IS the prize. The hair, car, jewellery, drinks ect. That's just peacocking;trying to get attention. What you do AFTER you get their attention is the real game
I found thats talking garbage confidently and making them talk about themselves and picking at them like they're your little brat sister was the EASIEST WAY BY FAR to change my psychology (obviously don't misconstrue that)

He has a gut and he's overweight but his body type is somehow very forgiving with all of his 250 lbs he carries on his 6'0 frame.

most of the girls he been with (recreational sex, nothing more, he never dates anyone) were...I don't want to sound disrespectful to him, but way out of his league. Maybe not way way way out, but definitely the type of girls you would notice on a night out, while he's a regular semi-chubby jeans and a shirt or a hoodie type of dude next door.

He's not rich and he doesn't even own a car. Not trying to knock him down for not having a car - just saying.

You see, this is exactly the example which proves that you don't don't need to be some Adonis tycoon in order to be great with women. Meanwhile, guys here on seddit are obsessing about being bald and slightly short/overweight/whatever.

You can have all these "disadvantages" and still get somewhere because your positive traits outshine your negative ones. This guy sounds funny relaxed and confident while not overthinking things. It's all you need. (Especially the not overthinking, people on here are notoriously poor at this.)

he sounds like the kind of dude who spends his entire life talking to women and has not focused on anything else like his career or whatever.

Take into consideration that for him, women, and his personality to attract them has been a 80 hr/week "job" since he was 14. He probably spent more time on understanding and getting women than most other men do in an entire lifetime.

career is opportunity cost of talking to women. also, sitting in an office 8 hours a day with a boss yelling at you probably isn't as great for your confidence as being jobless but fucking women.

Women are more psychological than men and they look at who they are over looks so yea looking good helps but I and anybody with confidence will go out looking like shit but speak with confidence and still get girls
