My first FR was not well received by seddit due to differences in moral standards so I am trying my hand at this again.

Backstory: Met an HB7 at my cousin's place last night for NYE. Long story short, atmosphere (family and friend party) was not appropriate to close more than a #. So I grabbed the number and told her I would take her out tomorrow.

Neon girl, 20 something. Vegetarian. Single and looking for a relationship for 2013.

She asks where we are going. I tell her "Mysterious adventures with strange guys you just met are more exciting and help build attraction."

I scoop her up around 7 and drive her down to the city to this dive cafe outside of boystown. The cafe is vegan friendly. She is smitten that I picked a place that had plenty for her to choose from. I suggest we pick two things and share. She loves it. Conversation at the table is light and usual stuff no blatant shit tests to write about. Light kino and just genuinely fun time.

We wrap up there and head to another hole in the wall spot that I used to go to back when I lived here. They are closed. She seems a little disappointed cause its cold and we walked there. Instead of letting this derail us I stop an HB8 who was walking by us and said "You look like you were coming from somewhere fun. Where can we go since such and such is closed?" The HB8 points to another spot and says to take our night there. We do. My date loves that I can talk to complete strangers and is impressed by this alternate spot. We chill over drinks and talk about her tattoos. I escalate kino and the conversation turns. She says "You seem like everything I would want in a guy, but you are leaving soon." I respond "this is true." I stay quiet, caressing her hand. She continues "I don't just sleep around with guys, I want something more long term." I laugh and say "Yeah, neither do I, guys suck, that's why I switched back to women." She laughs at my joke and continue on. Eventually we leave. Get back to the car and are driving home. She continues on about what great night we had and how she wishes I didn't have to leave. I take advantage of this play and begin to tell her how she can more easily meet guys like me.

She goes quiet. I let it soak in. Silence is powerful if used properly. She then comes back, "How can you so comfortably tell me how to meet other guys? Are you not interested in me?" I tell her it's not that. I explain that the logistics are off and that if she wants a relationship I am willing to help. I am confident in myself and see no problem talking about this. I quote Wilder "People are meant to go through life two by two."

We get back to her place. She asks what I want to do. I respond, "I want to see the rest of that tattoo (it goes from shoulder to butt). What do you want to do?" She stays quiet for a moment and says "You."

F-close.

TL;DR: She wants a relationship and is not into casual sex, I explain its not going to happen but provide advice on how she can find one. This earns rapport, respect, and trust. Used this to eventually f-close.

Takeaways: Silence is powerful to keep someone talking. The little details help set up nice dates. Keep your cool when you need to change the plan. Make your intentions known.
