Direct v/s indirect game?

I'm a fan of direct, when it comes to daygame. Not in nightgame (because in nightgame the context already says "here, at this party/club dudes approach girls to bang them" pretty clear).

After hundreds of direct approaches I can say :

It's really difficult to get laid, but at least your not waisting your time around chicks because you went indirect (not showing you liked her in a very physical sexual way)

Too little sample for evaluating the method: in statistical analysis this is called as "unbalanced dataset" : your evaluating 2 variables, one of them of a sample of 100 different cases,the other on a saple 20 times littler. Chances are that the resolution trought which your doing the measure will trick your vision on the phenomenon. And it did.

Girls lie, as we do (the all classic concept of "DHV" could be an example). And when they don't, they're taken. It's simply how nature works, and nature works with males going after the same chick, and the more alpha probably wins. You're here leaving the battle even before having evidence of loosing (supposed she doesn't want to have new adventures while "having a bf").

This is your job, this is your fault. As a direct daygame I can surely say that you, as a male, approached her, so YOU do the work. And it's your job to convert the all "I think you look cute and I want to get to know you" excuse into a conversation between to people that want to connect. That's ok man, we've all been there, struggling in what to say after the direct line, and with time and books you'll figure it out.

The all direct daygame model is actually base on being direct and at the same time playful, flirty and tease. It simply needs to be studied.

Here I can feel a lot of bad feelings about how "not fair" is that girls have abundance. But it's not my duty to say to you what I think about those sentiments.

BTW, thank for the post, because a lot of time I also fall into the "direct Vs indirect" thing with my thoughts , reasoning on which is the best, and now, thanks to your post I've practised as a mental exercise all the strength points about direct game. Said that, hope I will change your mind, and if not, hope I will change other guys' minds.

At the end I can only say that if you want to keep going indirect do it, because there's no actually "right" way to do this in life. Maybe it works better for you, but here I explained why direct works better for me.

I find it hard to do anything other than direct in the day, unless I have natural proximity (she's serving me in a store or something and we naturally just get chatting).

Nightgame is usually indirect. Direct doesn't really work on the hottest girls imo. With them disqualification is a better strategy.

I think you have misunderstanding about direct and indirect.

Direct means showing an intent when you open her.

Indirect means not showing an intent when you open her.

So, it is not you who decides what approach was, but her. If she thinks, that you are talking with her just as a friend, then it means it is INDIRECT. If she feels that you are hitting on her, then it is DIRECT.

So it is nothing to do whit what you actually say. You can say "I like your hair"

In direct game, you would just approach a girl and would say something like that. Then ask a name. She would know that you are hitting on her.

In indirect game, you would approach a group of girls and to each of them you will give a compliment. No one knows if you just being friendly or you actually hitting on someone? If yes then which one? So it is indirect game.

Another example

You approach a girl and ask for a direction.

In direct game you would stop her, give a smile, give strong eye contact, lower the voice tone, and would say "Excuse me,( give a pause here, make sure you are surprised how beautiful she is), do you know where is Big Ben?" At this moment she should realise that you like her. Then, if you would ask for a name, it would be totally normal to do so.

In indirect game. You would stop her, look at her like you are literally lost, and would say without any of emotions "Excuse me, where is Big Ben?". Then smoothly transition about talking other irrelevant things, showing DHV until she starts to feel attraction to you, while thinking that you are just a friendly guy. Note that, if you would ask her a name just after you opened her, it would be weird, while in direct case it is fine.

In your case your direct game didn't give you results not because it was direct, but for different reasons (lack of social intelligence, you are putting too much pressure on her, didn't have time to build attraction/comfort etc).
