Generally, if a girl is looking for a bit of loving, I can tell from her body stance, as in she'll be looking around a bit, she won't be dancing very closed with her friends and will be more open.

Keep giving glances her way and see if there's any response, bear in mind that there's probably loads of other girls at the club.

I'm just listing what has worked, groups can be 2-10 girls

Go up to the hottest one, tap her on the shoulder, be loud and ask for her name. Force your hand forward as a handshake. Even if she doesn't hear you, she sees your handshake and responds (don't let go of her hand)
Ask her like one question after (where are you from? Or anything really) then ask her to dance.

Alternatively the "creepy way" Go up to her and try to grind with her, it sounds stupid, but it works

Large groups are hard, you need tons of balls to go up and talk to them. A friend of mine can only do this when wasted. But if you can charge into a group of 8 girls, drag one out and make out with her, more power to you.

What I would do... find the one you like, get in their line of sight, smile at her and make sure she sees you do it and gauge her reaction. Make sure the smile comes off sincere and off the cuff and not creepy. Then, completely ignore her. Have a good time dancing, mingling with other people. Then, see if you can catch her at the bar or on the way to or from the bathroom and think of something witty to say to grab her attention. From this point, calibrate and push/pull. Could go a lot of different ways... if you're a good dancer ask her to dance, if you're not tell her you're a horrible dancer and ask her to give you lessons. A light compliment is okay to show your interest but don't lay it on too thick. Most importantly, have fun, talk to her, make the conversation light and be sure to introduce yourself to her friends too, cause you want them to like you too. You don't need CBs at the end of the night. This all just came off the top of my head, but I'm not a direct caveman kinda guy. I like to play the seductive game in small steps.
