It is worse. Don't sugar coat it. You will have shit tests thrown at you, and your self esteem checked and tested. Ending a conversation with a woman is painfully awkward too. You can, and should plow through this, however. I wanted to improve my phone game, and figured, okay, most people just text nowadays, and I figured, you know - becoming good on the phone will separate me from the competition. But I was admittedly over my head, and failed, therefore now i just stick to texting.

Remember, shit tests are exponentially harder to pass on the phone, because a vital part of communication is missing. these 60% (body language, including facial expressions, gestures, and eye contact) automatically go to the woman's favor - since you cannot do that half-smile, deep eye contact - you know, these goodies that us men are naturally good at. They go out the window, and she can truly just verbally fvck with you however she wants. I plowed through these things, but it took a lot of energy out of me, and really made me question everything about myself, giving me near-anxiety attacks afterwards.

Don't get me wrong, it is NOT my goal to deter you. I still think that becoming good on the phone is highly beneficial. But you must be mentally ready to take the hits, and many of them. You also need lots of resilience. It most likely will be torture at first. Practice most days of the week for a month or two, and it will all be worth it. But do not think that it will be an easy path.

Be strong, hang in there, ask us for feedback, and the results will be worth it. But as Rocky said, you have to be willing to take the hits.

P.S. Yes, fellas, this is somewhat of an emotional rant, but I had a lot to say. You may not agree, and I may be wrong, but I wanted this to be a separate post. Discussion is encouraged.
