Hey guys, I really need some help and feedback.

Growing up, I was fortunate to have it all, except one thing: height. My parents have always loved me, but it was blatantly obvious that they liked my brother more because he was more attractive, and yes they would always say he was tall and handsome, and my parents would get mad at my for being short (I come from a really tall family, every male is 6'2-6'5, while i'm a measly 5'8.5). They bought him a new car for his 16th birthday, and sent him to an expensive private school, and always bought him expensive clothes. I got jack shit. My uncles and aunts would also always treat me like a piece of shit for being short — they'd always make me do the chores at parties, and compliment my brother on how tall and handsome he is. Obviously, that has hurt my ego a bunch, and has contributed to my low self-esteem around girls. I have actually not gone events that I know people I knew from my high school would be there for the sole reason that I don't want them to see I haven't grown much since high school, and I'm still short.

I know height is a big factor on whether a girl will find you attractive, but I am obsessing over it to the point that girls I have dated have picked up on it and dumped me for being more insecure about it. I have gone to counseling for it for about a year, but it hasn't helped me much. I have considered limb lengthening surgery, but the only reason that is holding me back is that my body would be unproportional. I am attractive, and have everything to be happy with in life, but I can't succeed in dating because I don't think I deserve the girl because I'm short, and I can't live with that. I want to be the best in everything I do, and I just can't like that.
