How would you approach a girl at a festival?

approaching is approaching... you can literally say anything you want. Most guys are afraid to simply approach, but if they do the sky is the limit. It's really about how you carry yourself in the conversation... are you gonna approach like a scared awkward shy boy or a confident cool guy? If it's the latter you can almost say anything you want as long as you own it. I usually just approach with "hey what's up" and if they're dancing I get their hand twirl them around or some lame shit, but nothing is lame as long as I am confident.

Maybe like 10% of the time I'll get a "fuck off" which is cool. 20-30% of the time we'll exchange a few words and they'll leave, and other times I am pleasantly surprised how friendly and willing to socialize some of the girls are

There's really nothing to it. I went to EDC this year and realized that approaching girls at a music festival or anywhere really isn't a big deal. Just do it and you'll know what I mean. Anything goes, just make the approach. If you really can't think of what to say ask them what music they like, who they're going to see next, their plans for the night/day, where they're from, how they decided who to come with, etc. Ask anything. If she's in a group with guys or girls, still make the approach. Talk to the dudes, maybe you'll make friends and have more people to hang out with.

I find it easier to approach at music festivals as everyone is up for a good time, plus you can bounce away quickly to someone if you feel it is not going anywhere.

You'll always have something to talk about, which is good, and there's plenty of alcohol and other things going about so everyone feels a lot looser from a social standpoint.

Personally, when I'm at a festival I'm there to enjoy myself and watch the music. I've paid good money to be there so hooking up or anything is a bonus if it happens but it's not something I strive for.

I found starting conversation before band sets really works. When I went to Bonnaroo I started talking to this girl and hit it off a bit. Band comes on, and I kind of put my hand on her side and she just backed right the fuck into me and started grinding on me. I was like, "Oh, ok!" At that point I was pretty beta so I just left after the show (d'oh), but then doing the same thing worked AGAIN on another girl (once again fearing rejection I stopped there). It was crazy. It's amazing how down a lot of the girls at concerts are, honestly.

IMO a festival is an "epic" experience. Festivals are the type of thing we make a trip for, plan out, and want to have the most fun possible at and remember for a while. So if you're a girl what better way than to have a guy help to make the weekend even more special? So IMO a lot of girls are pretty much down to be very fun and playful and are pretty "easy" about being flirty and seductive. If you're making their weekend even more exciting you're in and that's all it takes.

Just talk for a while, and really develp some basic, primary trust (this is huge and important in a big place with almost everyone being strangers from all over the place) Let her realize you're not creepy, violent or boring first by talking for a bit. Then as the music progresses and you start losing yourself in the music you can get more "primal"

Make eye contact as you walk toward her. As soon as you're both locked in smile slightly then quickly look up! Continue walking toward her and start looking all around her, but not at her. She'll be so focused on you and what you are doing to think about anything else. When you are close to her, spin around and hop on one foot. then do a crazy series of gestures. Then walk away. Find someone else you want to approach. Eye contact, smile, walk towards them, say "hello". See how easy that was?
