Keep in mind he's married and is on television, so he's holding back a lot. This is more 'how to deal with someone who is attractive and flirting with you ... and your wife is watching' than anything else.

I was doubting you for the first few minutes, but that was a fun interview. I liked his "I find it very difficult to talk to you" line - taking a typical AFC phrase and turning it around to almost be a neg on her.

I think the most important thing to watch for here is the intensity spikes that he throws at her. He turns up the temperature on her then dials it back, then turns it up again, then dials it back. You can see her start to play with her hair and drum her fingers on his desk the more he does it. It's just like a lot of mPUA's say, two steps forward, one step back. Watch it again and see if you can spot what I'm talking about.

My favorite guest on Craig is always Lauren Graham. They flirt like crazy, and it's adorable and hilarious...if they aren't hooking up, it's just because Craig is married to a hotness, and seems to be trying to live a normal, sober, and responsible life these days. I don't really even find Lauren Graham all that hot (cute, but not really my type), but when she's on Craig I just love her.

There's definitely an escalation of sexual tension by both Craig and Kate as they both continually try to one-up each other with various sexual innuendos. It's almost text book verbal escalation in my opinion and a good example of where you want your conversations to lead when out sarging.

Watch her body language. Rubbing arms, wrists, all pacifying gestures from someone nervous. Then at 7:51, she basically strokes her legs. She repeats it a little while later.

It was a rather stranger interview, as so many commenters note. Ferguson was basically fishing for things to talk about, which is not how talk show interviews regularly go. I wonder if they didn't do a dry run like most.
