Hey studs,

I've finally gotten off my ass and started doing approaches instead of reading more material. I'm one of those pseudo-intellectual dudes (being a redditor and all) and I'm generally known to be reserved and low-key in nature.

My problem is that, because I take most things seriously, I am low-energy and generally not a "fun" guy. It seems like being serious is the worst crime of them all when it comes to pick-up, cause instead of being flirty and humorous (both of which I'm freaking terrible at...), I cant help but pause and think for a bit even when I'm asked the fluffiest of questions. I can tell in the girls' expressions that its immediately turning them off when I do these kinds of things.

So my question is, how do I make an attitude adjustment in myself? I've started working out and I'm hoping that would help with my energy level. But I have pretty much zero experience in flirting and just don't know where to begin. I feel like a fraud when I open with a canned opener and don't even know where to go right afterwards.

Any advice in helping me become a more fun, easy-going guy would be appreciated.
