First off... I am so glad to have found Seddit. I started reading PUA material about 3 months ago after I just got frustrated with my situation. I have been celibate for almost 2 years and im still in the early 20s. I have identified many issues in my inner game, and I am actively working on 'fixing' them which is a positive feedback loop in increasing my confidence and making me more natural. For a few personal reasons, I completely lost the drive after my last one night stand (family issues, academics). I have never been in a relationship but I used to like being alone until I started doubting myself when I saw everyone around me in a relationship. I went from a fiercely independent guy to someone who started depending on people for social stuff. Completely the wrong direction. In any case, these are inner game issues that I am very interested in clearing... it just feels good to let them out.

Coming back to the text game question: I met a cute girl at a superbowl party on Sunday. I am still learning to recognize IOIs, but I think I got a few (more than average eye contact, answering my openly directed questions about random stuff, asking me questions, etc..). We eventually developed an inner joke and I left her guessing about some personal questions she asked me (I don't like sharing personal info anyway). At the end of the night, I got her number.

I am not a big text person, and my text game absolutely sucks, so I decided to keep the texting as little as possible and ask her out within the week (thanks to some awesome text advice here on seddit). The conversation went something like this:

Me (monday night): Remind her who I am, reference to inside joke. ask her if she figured out the answer to her question about me.

Her ( tuesday morning): lulz about the inside joke, some discussion about the question.

Me (tuesday evening): ridiculous answer to her question. reference a nickname I gave her in our physical meeting. Asked her the same question.

Her (tuesday night): played along and gave me a ridiculous answer (though she had told me the answer when we had actually met).

Me (tuesday late night): used the newly developed inside 'game' to ask her out, telling her to grab a drink on thursday at a particular time

It is wednesday night and ..... silence. I am wondering what should I do in this situation? Should I text her to remind her to answer me? should I assume the no? How should I act if I see her again some time in the future? Should I acknowledge she didn't text me back/ call her out on it? Or just let it slide and assume its ok that she didnt text me back (which sounds insanely beta to me) I don't particularly care about salvaging this situation. The first 1000 numbers are trial anyway (this is my 4th this month so far... I should really up that number). Your views are much appreciated!

tl;dr Got a number, had some banter, asked her out two days from the 'ask out message'. One day has gone by and I haven't heard any acknowledgment.
