Every time an HB asks "Do you like x?" (where "x" is something guys don't typically like, such as Glee, Disney princesses, or Twilight) I've always tried to agree in a sort of sarcastic kind of way. They're not sure whether or not I'm joking, and when I agree it comes across as "I really wasn't listening to you. I'm not very invested in this conversation." (this kind of ties in to the 'law of least effort'.)

If we're talking about disney films, I'll amplify by starting to sing a disney song really obnoxiously. It's kind of a compliance test, but girls love to sing, so they always catch on. (Last night I sang "let's get down to business" from mulan when i was in a 3-set and i got an entire room of 20+ people singing by the end.) If it's glee, I don't even have to start. It's crack for HBs, and they'll start all by themselves (my personal choir). I haven't watched a single minute of the show, but I have gained boatloads of rapport for "agreeing and amplifying."

Or, you know, you could invest time an actually watch some of these things. I saw twilight, and it helped because i've been able to reference things from it. (My name is Edward, the book/movie almost always comes up).

tl;dr: It's not really lying if you're being sarcastic.
