Are glasses good or bad for a PUA to have? I do have contact lenses, but I've stopped wearing them completely a couple years ago in lieu of glasses after I found out that I have visual integration problems.

Basically, my brain doesn't properly process the information my eyes send it, specifically regarding peripheral vision and depth perception, so my vision is more tunneled and more two-dimensional than it should be. The actual sensation compared to normal vision is kind of hard to explain. The glasses I wear, in addition to correcting my preexisting nearsightedness, have microscopic prisms embedded the lenses that bend light so that I process it like a normal human being.

Thanks to some sciencey gobbledygook that I won't bore you with, having my integration issues resolved greatly improves my ability to relax (always helpful for a socially awkward individual such as myself) and take in information (good for remembering details in conversation).

Assuming, however, that wearing glasses is not optimal for a PUA, I could certainly go back to contact lenses/get laser eye surgery and get a set of glasses that only correct my integration problems (so that I could take off my glasses while gaming and still be able to see). But at the present I can't afford a new set of glasses, let alone surgery.

TL;DR: Assuming glasses are a detriment, optimal game v. optimal vision, or am I making a big deal out of nothing?
