in the land of ratings, your GF/Wife won't keep that desire for you if she stays an 8 and you drop to a 5. What if she becomes a 5 or 6 and the sex is gone? Time to up your rank. She will naturally follow you.

What's taboo about it? There's nothing taboo about being a married man trying to keep his wife hot, or re-seduce her after a dry spell.

I mean, for us young guys who are still single, getting monogamously hitched may be slightly taboo/controversial, but regardless, "married game" is totally a valid and welcome topic here.

I think it is important to emphasise that you should ALWAYS be using 'attraction' type material, to keep things fresh.

However, you don't need to use openers all the time or DHV or make conversation for the sake of it. Many friends make this mistake and hanging out with them + their gf's is awkward as hell.

They may like you, they may even be in love with you but as long as other good looking and sufisticated men keep on hitting on them they will always be thinking at the back of their head... This subject isn't taboo at all. I fully support the application of seduction in established relationships.

However the ideology that the end goal is an exclusive monogamous relationship is a little short sighted.

The wording of your title and follow up suggest you see dating as a means to an end, whereas most of the community sees dating as the goal itself.

"Lasting beyond" is a very tall order. Be mindful of that.

I was actually better at seducing my last girlfriend than I am at picking up girls now that I'm single again. There were often times when she said she needed to focus and get things done before we could do anything sexy (grad student in Materials Science) and we'd frequently end up in bed before she was done with work, which would result in a "dammit, how do you do that? I was trying to get work done!"
