Does financial status hamper the game?

Most are going to say no... however it does have an effect on it.

It won't stop you, however it can make things more difficult. If money is tight, its going to be hard to pay for cover at a club. Also, having money means that you can afford better clothes. [Which often give a better status] On the other hand, if you have too much money and you flash it around it can make your job harder. [Well unless you're into prositutes, but then you don't need game for that]

Also more on the rant: If its going to bug you to pay for parking, buy an average downtown price for a drink, etc then yes you do need to make more money, or go else where. Those small environment factors can fuck up your state.

Going what a few others say: Don't pay for her [food, drinks, etc].

No. I have made good money (6 figures) for years, and until I actually learned how to approach and talk to girls, it made no difference.

Only now that I am better at interacting with women do I do well.

Thing is, no girl will really even know what you have. How would they? You certainly cannot mention it straight out.

And for a hook-up, why would they even care? You could have Bill Gates money, and if you guys just fuck tonight, the money does nothing for her.

I feel your pain on this one. For me, my finances badly affect my self-confidence. Many of my friends are fairly well off, which makes it all the worse.

As others have said, its all about your mental game. You absolutely have to make the most of what you have. Wowing a lady with your income isnt really an option for us, so we have to pickup the slack with our brains. You'll have to be more creative on dates, and you'll have to budget for them.

I'll give you a recent example. I have a ladyfriend that wanted to go running with a group on Tuesday. She picked me up from work, and we tried to make it, but traffic interfered. So, we changed tack: I grabbed my bike, she grabbed her skateboard. We spent an hour biking along the cargo ramp at the airport watching planes takeoff and land, all while I answered all her questions about flying. It ended with us watching incoming planes land, ala Waynes World.

Offset their wealth with uniqueness.

Take up some hobby that makes them want you, simply for being involved in that hobby. Whatever it is, people want people who are unique. You being rich, with her being rich is normal.
