Guys, I hear this all the time, but I still don't get it. How do you determine that a girl is making an eye contact with you?

A good rule of thumb I follow is "Anything I wouldn't do in a gay bar is an indicator of interest". So picture you're in a gay bar - sometimes you might meet eyes with someone, but you'd look away pretty fast. Anything longer than that is interest.

I think an easy way would be to smile. If she smiles back, there's your 'in'.

I'm a big fan of; look, smile, shift eyes to lips then back to eyes, casually look away.

If she smiles back, still casually look away, but get up and go talk to her.

I noticed this for the first time on Wednesday this week. Seriously, you'll know when you make eye contact, I promise you. Just tell yourself to remain mindful of it and you'll start noticing. I always had trouble noticing it, but Wednesday, I have no idea how it happened but I noticed at least 5 girls locking eyes with me at the bar.

I guess it just clicks eventually, or I was just on fire that night with eye contact.

You'll get a sense for it eventually, theres different levels of it, for example, some girls will look at you for a few seconds then look away, girls will look at you for a while look away and then look at you again repeatedly, they'll look at you and follow you with their eyes when you walk by, etc.... eventually you'll get that "HA she wants to fuck me, Im sexy and I know it" feeling (when it starts to happen you'll know)

If you really are not sure, move around a bit when she is not looking. When she looks back at where you were standing and doesn't see you, she will begin scanning the area.

An easy way to get past this is to perform this experiment:

When you're walking down the street in public, make eye contact with all women. At least, women in your age range who you consider reasonably attractive. Just look at them in the eyes, and don't look away. Some won't see you. Some will. When they do, hold eye contact until they look away. Sometimes this will be short and brief, and sometimes it will be long. When you start, the times that it's long will be quite uncomfortable. It might even feel like you're being creepy. It doesn't matter. You just have to make yourself not look away.

A couple years ago I got pretty tired of my inability to maintain eye contact with women so I started this test. I forget exactly how long it took, a few weeks or a couple months, maybe sooner, but by the end of it it really was no longer a problem at all. If you try it, let us know how it goes.

The thing is making her break the contact first, preferably by looking down. It does not need to take even a full second, it is a message you pass, that you are interested.

Watch movies. The lead actor is scripted to be, well, a boss. Watch and learn my monkey friend. But a quick tip... look into her eyes when she's talking, occasionally switch between eyes. When you're talking look into her eyes and if you're flirting glance at her lips for a second or two then back to her eyes. Smile. Laugh. Have fun.
