In addition, if you are wearing glasses, when you open a set and introduce yourself, take your glasses off and make eye contact. Again, be sure not to look away before she does. Same goes for your hat. She will notice.

This is definitely good advice. I forget where I heard it from, but when I was first getting into pickup, I was advised to look 300 women in the eye until they broke eye contact. The idea being that afterwards, its easy and natural, and that held true for me. It's also a confidence boost, as women will often smile or say hi, without additional effort on your part.

People will often assume you're staring at them when you're wearing dark sunglasses. Makes you creepy. Has backfired on me a couple times when I wasn't even looking at people.

Unfortunately it's either squint or glasses for me.
