One of my turning points in my confidence transformation was when I got rejected a kiss by the hottest chick I've ever tried kissing. I remember I manned up and wen't for it and she pulled back and I simply played it off. I got in my car and started laughing because I was ok. Nothing changed except that I had the confidence to do something. From then on every girl that wanted to kiss me was going to get kissed. So it's not bad, you go after what you want, when you want it. Because your awesome like that!

The reason most people don't do this is because they can't deal with these types of negative emotions. They are afraid of getting rejected or feeling social anxiety. They can't handle the social pressure. Normal people would much rather stay at home, watch their favorite show and eat their little microwave meal.

Us on the other hand, we are able to take these kinda hits because we are social warriors. I know its a stupid analogy but analogies aren't perfect.

You do what ever you have to do to let those feelings out. Cry, punch a wall (don't hurt yourself), or whatever. Just cleanse yourself of the embarrassing thought, and TRY AGAIN!!. It's always a pain at first. And I'm sure you've heard this a billion times. But it's true. Some people take a short time to get over rejection, others take longer. Just keep at it. You'll get numb to rejection over time.

Feelings should never resisted and utilized where necessary. Lift some weights, write a song, call a friend... do whatever gets you off. Anger is a great motivator. You can try and deconstruct what went wrong if that's your fancy but I don't recommend delving too deeply into this.

Now seriously, you tell yourself you are seeing it on a win win perspective, but you need to cut that shit out. You're rationalizing that if you don't win by getting the girl, you kinda win by improving yourself.

Stop.

Focus only on improving yourself. It doesn't matter if you get the girl or not, what matters is the experience you're getting and the lessons you learn from it.

If you manage to "succeed" through your path, great, but the real success is moving forward and sticking to that path come hell or high water.

Look at it like this. Where are you now after getting rejected? The same place you were before but now you have experience.

It's like any video game. You fuck up on a level once you hit restart and try again at that point you'll now have a frame of reference and be able to move forward.

Rejection is amazing in the sense that you can learn so much more from it. Look at It as if uou were a boxer. Your first you win by knockout. What have you learned? What will you work on? Where would you see any weakness? Now look at it as if you were knocked out. You can see what to work on. Your speed your defense. You have things to now work on. Don't analyze the specific situation but the situation as a whole. Don't I'm prove yourself just for meeting THAT girl ever again but for that SITUATION.

I got over out right rejection with a little game I called "Lets purposely get rudely rejected" (Naming things not my forte). Here's how you play: 1. Walk up to a girl (extra points if they are really hot/in a big group0 2. Open with; "Hey guys, I was wondering if you could do me a favor...Tell me to fuck off 3. Win the game (actually really hard to do people don't like being rude as a rule and this open often leads to some interesting chat)
