I'm curious about the "dark side" of PUA. What techniques or experiences do you have with the potentially immoral side of this community?

One of the most borderline tactics has to be the LMR freeze out tactic. I'm on the fence about it because I suspect LMR is itself a manipulative tactic.

More generally though, a lot of guys begin to see the world only in terms of pickup, and they see people as nothing more that targets, obstacles, pivots, etc, and stop thinking of other people as people.

I went a bit too far with negging and doing things to get a reaction out of girls that went too far, things that were aimed at their self esteem

sometimes the whole not giving a fuck is a dark side in itself as you will outright hit on girls infront of their boyfriends, you wont be afraid to toy with peoples feelings just to get laid, you can become very inconsiderate and that combined with being unapologetic can be a pretty deuchy mix, especially because every morally questionable decision you make you'll justify inside your own inflated ego of a head that it's ok for whatever reason

this is what can happen if you go too far with game among other things

*the main problem is gaming is pretty much manipulation. not necessarily a bad thing because it helps you realise in this life people manipulate eachother for their own gain, it's only a problem when you go too far, but where that line of going too far is I don't know as it's quite subjective

It might be the way that it is similar to nuclear energy, if used one way it provides power and well being to millions of people, used in another way it leaves a desolate radioactive wasteland in its wake filled with broken souls. It more about the intentions behind the tools for they give you avenues into emotions. You have to be responsible with what your doing.

I went to a date party with a girl who was just going with me as a friend. I used Ross Jeffries routine on her and the effects were potent.

It's hard to explain what happened. I told her a "story" but used the subtle twist to words that Ross says to use (ie below me vs blow me) and I could visually see her opening up and really wanting it hard. October Man Sequence. - it went something along the line of bringing up a woman's negative memories/feelings, linking them to a tangible object, and then manipulating the object pulling it towards/away from her. Eventually you get rid of the object, and in her mind she concludes that you are capable of removing all her troubles away. Then you have her think of all her happy moments, link that to a tangible object, and then relate that object to yourself.

I forgot what the other one was called (if anyone knows please inform us). For this one you and the girl are hanging out in your bed having a good time. You then begin to talk about how life is so short, things can happen at any moment, and then you ask her what she would do if you just walked out of the door and never came back. At this point she'll wtf and begin to worry wondering what your talking about. You shrug it off and tell her you were just talking it was nothing serious, then you get up, walk out of the room, and slam the door, then open it up again and say "sorry I didn't mean to slam it/ oops, etc." She should feel scared/tense wondering why you're talking about all of this when you two were having such a good time. When you walk back into the room act like nothing ever happened and treat her nicely again.

I think there was also a straw man technique as well as a Gemini technique.

Of course the techniques are much more complicated than what I just mentioned. I will admit to having used both techniques effectively before and as long as techniques are used with good intentions I see nothing "dark" about them.

It all comes down to manipulation. In outer game, there are manipulation tactics that you can use and learn, but they can be abused. Adam Lyons/ Adam London qualification video on youtube goes into it a little bit.

I don't think there's a lot of that kind of seduction here, mainly because it doesn't work as good as it used to. Genuine/direct game seems to be the most popular nower days. Another thing about "immoral seduction" is that most girls are big girls and know what they're getting into, people get hurt and that's just life.

The dark side refers to parts of sexual strategy that would be deemed immoral by women or feminists. Mind you that it is their sexual strategy to ensure men have no clue what they're doing- thus the average frustrated betas everywhere.

Sexual strategy, in my opinion, is amoral, and I do not believe there is anything "dark" to speak of.

I'm actually curious as well, I just found this subreddit by accident when looking for one about drinking. I'm assuming PUA means Pick Up Anyone. I don't actually use this subreddit since I've always been an "alpha male". I honestly turn down more women than I bother taking home. I never go out looking to hook up, just enjoy making new friends.

That being said human interactions and psychology have always interested me. So...more info? Like what is Freeze out tactic?
