You're not going to get many responses, because the HB scale is meant to encapsulate more than just looks, so it is too subjective to just have people post pics.

I believe there's more to it than looks alone. If I'm talking to a girl who is an 8 or 9 on the looks department and she makes life very negative for herself and everyone around her, she turns into a 2. I don't want to be around her at all. The idea of sleeping with her, or even looking at her repulses me.

I believe a lot of it is personality clicking together. I'm currently starting a bit of a relationship with a 10. Why is she a 10? Not only is she beautiful, she's fun, easygoing, enthusiastic, and confident. Those things are so important to a good woman. If you want those qualities, you can stop putting them on a pedestal for the looks department.

I guess it's like this for me:

6 - a decent human being. She's pretty, kind, and approachable, but she's boring. One of my friends is a 6. I'm only friends with her because she's boring and I would cheat on her due to that.

7 - A good looking woman who I can chat with and have some fun with in life. She's a girl I could enjoy dating a little bit, maybe even having sex with, but I wouldn't want much more than a couple lays because she just doesn't match up with me. Again, another friend who is drop dead gorgeous, but very different from me. I could never see anything long term with her.

8 - Good looking woman with lots of personality. I think by the point of 8, they can shift up or down in life. You are good for each other, but it would take a lot of work to really get going at anything. She's a good lay, a good person, and you converse well.

9 - Almost a stunner on all levels. She is a girl with a great physique, a strong sense of confidence, and the two of you match. I've got a couple friends like this. I know we would work well together, and that would be a lot of fun.

10 - A girl who is beautiful and well-matched for you. I find this to be someone who has the same sort of ambitions or interests. They want to do well with you, and they want to be great along with you. Your personalities are basically made for each other and you revert to a few AFC mentalities around them, but they like your sense of vulnerability and weakness that very few get to see.

That's my personal list. I don't believe the looks alone should be the rating. It automatically puts a girl on a pedestal. It should be a thought that she's cute and you need to find out if she has a personality that is right for you. If not, she's not that attractive. That's my stance.

HB rankings are about a woman's view of herself, NOT how hot she looks. Her looks don't alter your interaction with her but whether or not she thinks she's hot will definitely alter it.

HB 1 Very Ugly, very Obese, Old, very rough looking..
HB 2 Ugly Fat, Semi Old
HB 3 Ugly, Fat but young (might be fuckable after a lot of drinking..)
HB 4 Fat chick with average face (fat chicks wobble when they are on top... I call it going Hogging. EX "Hey man Lets go Hogging!")
HB 5 Fat chick with semi Cute Face / Semi Ugly chick with average Body (I honestly have no problem fuckign a 5 if they offer it )
HB 6 thick Cute chick / Cute girl with average body but older / Girl with average healthy looks, Not fat, not ugly, not too old. (Now here's a girl I don't feel that embarrassed goign out with!)
HB 7 Cute face / Semi hot body, young, Semi lean Body. (Sometimes The reason they are not an 8 is because they have small boobs or no ass) (definitely dateble material)
HB 8 Young, attractive pretty face, Hot Body, Fit. Stands out. Head Turners. Sometimes the reason they are not a 9 is because they are short) (show off material right here.)(They attract a lot of competition)
HB 9 Tall, slim, curvy body but thin. Very beautiful. Long limbs, rigid angular face. usually light healthy skin. Model Material.
HB10 Like an HB 9 but who spends 4 hours doing makeup. radiates high social status. Super ppular and well known.

Everyone has different taste. I like small semi-nerdy brunettes, you might like bombshell blondes, etc.

That said, I find there to be a big divide between about a 7 and 8. When I say HB8 it means her looks/personality are getting so good that I actually start to care what she thinks. I know I shouldn't anyway, but I do. If I see a HB9, I'm petrified to go talk to her... but I will anyway. Have only ever pulled a few of these. I don't know if HB10 exists other than models and such. Just my take.

4 and below, I find unattractive. 5 is a girl I'm neither attracted to nor find ugly. Just kind of... sexless. 6 is a girl I'm fairly attracted to. 7 is a hot girl. 8 is a very hot girl. 9 is a surprisingly hot girl, the kind of girl you don't see more than once a month (unless your in the right places.) a 10 is jaw-dropping hot. You rarely see a girl like this.

My understanding is that it's the average of looks + personality & values. So a 1 on the hot scale with a 10 personality would be considered a 5??

Ok here is my rating system

Anything below 5 is unattractive, the lower we go the more unattractive we are at least we get this.

5: Average. Nothing unattractive or especially attractive about the person. By average I don't mean the 50th percentile of the population, most people are actually below average. Celebrities that come to mind are Tina Fey and Seth Rogan.

6: Cute, above average. Most attractive people fall into this category yet it's actually quite the minority. I live in a fairly big city and about every 5th person in my demographic is a 6. One should be very happy with this rating but here it's almost like an insult. This girl is between a 5.5 and a 6.5. Celebrities: Jennifer Lawrence, Jason Bateman

7: The hottest girl in your high school was probably a 7.5. These people are fairly rare. I might see like 10 out in a big city just walking around for a few hours. These people are a couple features away from being 8's but don't quite stack up yet they dominate as big fish in small ponds and are usually preselected as the hottest ie offices or school. Examples: Zooey Deschanel, Amy Adams, Ryan Gosling, most catalogue models are 7's airbrushed to look like 8's

8: I'd say about 1 in every 250 people are 8's fewer of these keep in good enough shape to show it off. This is actor, model territory. Famed for their good looks. Again walking around I might see like 0 - 3 8's a day. Examples: George Clooney, Scarlett Johansenn, Brad Pitt, Kate Beckinsale.

9: Top Male/Female model tier. The odds of someone being this attractive and talented are extremely rare. I don't think I've ever seen any in real life. Even in a top nightclub you can see a fair few 8's but no GODS walking around. These people are often the faces of brands like D & G. Examples: David Gandy, Rosie Huntington Whitely, Johnny Depp, Charlize Theron.

10: Unattainable. An Ideal. An airbrushed photoshopped 8.5 or 9.5.

Yeah. Everyone have different tastes. HOWEVER attractiveness in women is kinda universal. Which means if you see an HB9 she most likely will fall within a 7 to 10 range for any normal man. This scale is purely for a reference and not meant to be absolute.
