The ladder theory basically states that girls group guys into two ladders - the friend ladder and the date/lover ladder.
They school of thought really fucked me over in junior high, and I avoided making friends with any girl that I was attracted to.
But as I've gotten older, I've realized that the ladder theory might not be so valid after all. Instead, I think that it is rather grouped into "attractive" and "unattractive" guys. That is, a girl could be friends with a guy, and still be willing to escalate and sleep with him - as long as he's confident and attractive etc. I've hooked up with female friends before.
What do you guys think?
