Another night of freshers yesterday. I'm slowly weening myself off the need of alcohol to approach at night, I was far more in control that I was the first night.

Smoking area

As soon as we got into the club we went to the smoking area. My friends were scared of approaching a 3 set of HB7+ and I just went up without a second thought and said to the cutest one "You're cute as fuck, and I had to meet you. What's your name?". They loved it, they all did the typical "oh my god!!!!" and her two friends automatically stepped back for me to talk to her and I said "Sorry, do you mind if I flirt with your friend for a bit" and more typical girlish laughter and "oh my gods" were let out. They then asked for me to be in a picture with her.

I was nervous as fuck as it was my first approach of the night and I felt like my heart was gonna explode out my chest. I'm not sure if she sensed my nervousness or whatever but conversation died pretty fast. General chit chat was exchanged, looking back now I wish I had made my replies to her question a bit better instead of giving her the full answer straight away I should have kept her interested by telling her to guess.

Eventually two guys approached the set and I jokingly asked if them two were the boyfriends.

AMOG: Yes we are, I'm with her and he's with her.

Me: I don't believe you!

AMOG: Seriously, we are!

Me: Ah, alright then. What's your name mate?

As you can see from that interaction I became a beta faggot as soon as he "confirmed" that he was the boyfriend which in the back of my mind I didn't believe but still went with it since I didn't know how to deal with it. I guess I should have said something like "Look, you're down. I'm down. Let's all have an orgy round mine?" just for the laughs.

I was then talking to the only girl who didn't have a guy on her in the group and I just went extremely beta and needy after feeling flustered from the interaction. She said something and I was overreactive and said "I like your attitude, high five!" and in my head I'm cringing like a motherfucker on how bad it was.

Eventually I ejected and went to the dancefloor...

Dancefloor game is ridiculously tough for me

I had no luck with dancefloor game. I was shot down one after another. Luckily it wasn't just me, a lot of other AFC's who were trying got shot down too which I giggled to myself when I saw it (sense of relieve that it wasn't just me).

I tried to analyse what the naturals were doing, but with the flashing lights and having to not look like a creep by staring at a guy working his game on a cute girl made it hard.

There was this HB5 dancing (she was the type who thought she was more attractive than she really was) and she kept giving every guy who danced near her the finger (including my friend). I danced behind her (back to back) and she started rubbing her ass and body all against me and I was like "wtf" and as I turned round she gave me the finger, which I returned right away... And I thought that this girl is just a fucking bitch. I didn't have any interaction with her for the rest of the night apart from danced near her group of friends. But what pissed me off the most was towards the end of the night, she got her friend to tell me to "leave her alone" eventhough I had no interaction with her throughout the rest of the night...

It was annoying since she had a cute redhead friend in the group, she was dancing alone while all her friends had some kind of guy on them. Me and her held short eye contact quite a few times during the night but I thought not to approach since she was with her crazy bitch friend who would definitely cock-block me and I was already pissed off enough of her general attitude and didn't want to be near her at all.

Bounced to the downstairs dancefloor

Saw a 3 set, had a really cute blonde girl there. Danced a bit near her and then asked for her to take a picture of me and my friends. After she took the picture told her she's really cute and asked for her to dance.

Me: "You're cute, wanna dance?"

HB: "Sorry I have a boyfriend"

Me: "Just cause you have a boyfriend doesn't mean you can't dance" (hold hand out)

HB: (holds my hand)

Me: (attempts spin)

HB: "No!" (smiling and shows me her ring on her ring finger)

Me: "I honestly don't believe you." (and I eject)

Just thinking whether I'm being too needy or persistent? I know she's bullshitting me because even if she did have a boyfriend the ring was obviously fake since they're not married but whatever.

End of the night

Towards the end I was too tired from all the dancing, and just a bit demoralised on how shit I am with dancefloor game. Even though I've approached on the dancefloor this time (all my other nights I didn't bother cause I had bad AA with dancefloor game). On the bright side, I'm slowly coming out of AA and taking more chances on approaching girls and not really feeling embarassed with the results. Instead of feeling embarassed I look on what I did wrong and try to improve it.

TL;DR

My dancefloor game sucks, I'm slowly beating AA one night out at a time. Taking more chances. Need to learn to AMOG instead of becoming beta and ejecting. Slowly improving but a lot more to learn.

Can I get some advice on dancefloor game?
