So today I finally built up the courage to do a daygame approach (barely).

Drive to university

I was driving to university and I noticed there was this cute girl driving behind me who had been following me for 3/4 of the journey (takes 30 minutes to get to university).

I was thinking in my head "Ha if she actually goes to my university I'm gonna totally open her". As I got nearer to university I realised that she was more than likely going to the same university so I start panicking a little like a little bitch thinking that I had to open her now otherwise I couldn't live with myself.

Choked initially, but pulled out the courage to open

I park up and walk straight past her... I choked, and I knew it. I slowed my pace down so that she could catch up. She's walking behind me now, I freeze yet again. In my head I was thinking "Fuck, fuck fuck. You're no man, you don't deserve to have any girls in your life if you can't take any action".

I then suddenly bursted out with "You were totally stalking me throughout that whole journey." Boom, I opened and it got easier from there.

She responded with "Really? Where are you from?" and it turns out she's in the same town as me. We exchange small talk on what our courses are and what year we're in at university etc (it wasn't a full on non-stop conversation, there were awkward pauses in it but overall it was a chilled out conversation).

In the end we had to go seperate ways.

Me: So I'm going that way, but you seem really cool. Give me your Facebook and I'll add you.

Her: Okay, its <name>.

Me: Here you type it cause I suck at spelling.

We said bye and went our seperate ways.

The problem...

She puts her name but there was no fucking signal so I couldn't look her up properly. I'm pretty sure I remembered what her last name was but the stupid phone tilted and lost the name on the search box... But still couldn't find her.

I was pondering on what to do so I thought I'll write a note and stick it to her car (not sure if this was a good idea, need you guys to decide). So I wrote "Couldn't find you on Facebook so add me instead: <email address> See ya =)!"

I'm not sure if I'm conveying neediness or showing persistence. Either way I wouldn't have got anything out of it had I not try and I doubt the average AFC would even go to them lengths to talk to a girl again.

Difference between persistence and neediness?

I'm just stuck on this mindset of being afraid in being too "needy" so it holds me back a lot with my game. Can anyone give any examples on the difference between the two?
