In the past year I've been into pick up, I've used a lot of excuses that I wish I could go back and ignore them. Sometimes I realize right away that the excuse doesn't matter while other times I don't even realize it until months later. I feel like a lot of excuses are programmed through social conditioning!! Like the other day my friend was talking to a girl at a party. My friend didn't try and get her number because "She is hott, so she probably has a boyfriend...." Society tells us hott girls always have boyfriends

Here are a couple of excuses I've used that held me back a bit

Excuse: I won't approach that girl because I still have a couple of DVDs left in that pick up video series that I'm watching. Argument: There's not going to be some big secret at the very end. Watch a DVD, go out and practice what it teaches, then watch the next one instead of trying to take it all in at once.

Excuse: I can't go direct and let her know my intentions. Society tells us that if you go up to a girl and say she's attractive she will be grossed out and offended. Must go indirect and ask her where she got her shoes. Argument:Yeah if you come from a needy mindset and subconsciously communicate "You're cute, give me something," then she'll act the way society tells you she will act.
