You are looking for a woman to fix your life. Stop.

This is basically oneitis, except without a specific girl in mind. You're not happy with your life, so you're hoping some girl will come along and make it all better.

First, that's a ton of pressure to put on someone. Could you imagine being that girl and having some guy depend on you to make his life not suck? No one wants to get into that sort of dependency relationship.

Second, it's self-defeating. Girls are not attracted to incomplete guys looking for a partner to give them meaning. They want guys who have great lives even without a girl.

I saw a girl for only a few weeks when I was 23. I'm 28 now, and that's been my only relationship thus far. And if there's one thing I've learned, it's that a woman is not going to bring me happiness unless I'm happy with myself first. A manic pixie dream girl is not going to come along and fix my life, and I need to try and focus on improving myself before I attempt to begin a relationship with someone.

24 M. Was single for about a year until very recently. I started getting that loneliness feeling going on about a month ago so I decided to do something about it. I have faith in you, bro. Since November 10th. Being in college [19(M)] the thought pops into my head from time to time, but I also think about how I am still pretty young and have my whole life ahead of me to settle down.

Realistically though, if I meet the right girl then who knows?

Single for 1.5 years. You don't need to be in a relationship to share those experiences with a girl. I have a good number of FWBs who I have an intimate personal relationship with... just learn to love women and appreciate their company and the time you spend with them, and you can become intimately involved without this whiney dependent bullshit you're spewing. Plus, the sex is a lot better when you're closer with the girl.

I'm 19 and I've been single...forever lol. I was too fucking dense until I hit 15.i was still dense though until 17.

I started putting myself out there a bit more. I managed to stumble on the psychos both friendship wise and relationship wise.

Examples: 1) Manipulative friendzoned bitch who turned it around just to friend zone me. (as ridiculous as it sounds) 2)Manipulative friendzoned bitch and former friend.

Actually I've been meaning to make a post about the state I'm in. I've seen some of the arquably lowest points some women may reach when sexuality gets in the way, even if I wasn't acting as a nice guy. I have to stop myself from being outright misogynistic at times. The whole courting process feels like a power game I'm too tired to play and too afraid to lose.

Not that all of this means shit. I seem to have a zero dating pool. I don't go to clubs or bars. My social circle provides no opportunities. Seems like a fuckin' dead end.

Sorry about the rant but...you can see how I feel now. It's like knowing how a magic trick works. You can't enjoy it. And let's say you could, you also fail at doing it.

Currently not single but I was for several months prior to this relationship and I felt those loneliness pangs. Keep your eyes open and you'll find a girl who'll complement you emotionally.
