Learn to be honest. Start now. It will help you immensely down the road. Honesty builds a certain strength and courage that comes with being able to face what results from an honest comment or statement. Women sense that in men (not boys). So be honest with her. Tell her you think she is a great girl, but that you just want to be friends and that you have a lot going on at the moment.

I would usually just give her the honest speech and tell her what I think, bla bla bla. But if I come across a girl that is really insecure/shy/emotionally unstable/etc., then I just keep increasing my response delay. At first I answer after hours, next time after a day, next time after a couple of days, then a week, etc., until I don't respond at all anymore. That's sort of psychologically more gentle for her emotions than the hammer of truth ;), because her realization that you're not interested is coming more slowly. But it's of course better to be direct and avoid this bullshit with every girl whose self-confidence is not in the toilet. (And that is also why you always want to project self-confidence and non-neediness yourself, otherwise girls might think that they need to run the same strategy on you and waste your time...)

Just tell her that you don't want to meet her again. in club: that you are not interestet (@ everybody pleasy don't use assholewords like FUCK OFF thats not my point) . You may think, that's rude and not gentle etc. but it's actually the less painfull way for her rather than for you. What for me? Yes for you! Direct words tell her it's not going somewhere, it's not going anywhere. She has to deal with it right now, and when she dealt with it, it's OVER. BUT if you tell her, we can be friends etc it's like a long and painfull death (except you want to be good friends). The point is, it's harder for you beeing direct, because you get a direct maybe strong reaction and that's what you are afraid of, so keep in mind: It is really less suffering for her to know it is over than imagining you be friends with her, but you never want to meet her and you have no time everytime she asks you to do something with her. PS: she will not kill herself. EDIT: For the grammer Nazi's: I'm German.

Dude, seriously, fucking stop it. You don't have to be a jerk, but it's not your job to be nice to her either. Especially if she's getting clingy. She's probably had plenty of dudes take the same route and try to "let her down gently" and it's only exacerbated the situation. She needs honestly, so give her that. It's not your responsibility to coddle her and tell her what she wants to hear, so have a little respect for the girl and kick her to the curb.

Edit: This is coming from someone who 1. Can be pretty clingy myself, and will say that things work out much better when someone just straight up tells me they aren't interested. Don't leave any room for the possibility of something happening between you two (even friendship, which you don't want either anyway). and 2. Have dated crazy/clingy girls and it never works out to try and beat around the bush. Set CLEAR BOUNDARIES and make sure those boundaries are respected. If you don't want to date someone then stop putting time and effort into this and move on.

About your update....yikes! You need to ABORT, you've got a crazy one on your hands, no one should be saying things like they'll hurt themselves over losing you after ONE meeting in a club. I wouldn't even see her as a friend, try the delayed response someone mentioned earlier, but that might not work. Definitely DO NOT tell her any personal information, like your address or (hopefully you haven't already) Facebook.....I'm sensing a stalkery vibe here

As a general rule, just be honest. If you're not interested in a girl, just say so. I know just not texting back is easier, but it's a dickish move, and we get confused and don't know where we stand. So just be straight with us. Having said that, if she's threatening to hurt herself etc then get the heck out of there, emotional blackmail is not cool!
