Nice little conversation starter when it's getting close to date night. Has worked pretty well for me, and has piqued interest from girls I've set dates with.

Of course it depends on how much of a rapport you have with the girl, but I've been pretty consistent with getting good responses from texting a girl, prior to a date:

"Pick a color"

She'll wonder why you're asking, but will almost always respond with a color of choice. A girl will usually respond with a color they themselves like, so when you tell them that they've chosen the color you'll wear on your date this coming night, they'll usually get excited. Sometimes they'll ask you to choose their color, but usually you can just ask, and they're usually game.

It's also a nice way to confirm the date, prevent flaking, and gives you something to talk about on the date.
