People talk about intention a lot here, I am going to be the dick to point out the obvious, 2 out of 3 reasons you gave show nothing but fear of rejections and clear intention to hide from failure. So let's be honest, do you give out your number because you afraid of the rejection or you really think it is a good way to go about it?

As a girl, I hate it. I'm never going to call you. But I might have answered if you called, because it's a confidence booster for me. You're just passing the fear of rejection onto the chick and chicks aren't used to dealing with rejection so I'm not sure it would work out so well for you. YEMV

No. Its a HIGHER rate of rejection since the response rate is nearly zero. If you actually want to succeed, develop solid game and get numbers and setup dates.
No. This is exactly what betas do, especially at events; they give their cards out. So, the girls just throw the cards out. And, if you go for a number and she says that no, she will take yours, don't give her your number. She doesn't want to hangout with you.
That's why she usually won't do it. Why should she? It is your job to lead.

I only give out my info without getting theirs in very specific circumstances: She is a hired gun, and has employees, bosses, or customers around (cant get her #) so I give her an identity (in my case, food) bases business card that includes a website with social proof & Identity (and contact info). They always contact me by email and respond about a story I placed on my website.

Been that road couple of times. I know I haven't probably built enough rapport each time I tried it but regardless of that it didn't feel right and I never got a text or call back, so 100% failure.

Don't do it if you seriously wanna see this girl again. Almost all girls will never text or call you if you give them you're number, just take theirs

The number one fear anyone has is rejection. All you're doing is passing along the burden of rejection to the girl. If you give your number to her you're no longer in control of any further interaction with her, that whole burden falls on her

You're displaying a fear of rejection by not taking a risk and asking for her number. You no longer have any say in whether the interaction proceeds any further. There is nothing positive that can be gained from the situation.

Yeah, it's a low percentage move. You ALWAYS want the responsibility.

This is super weak. If you want to attract girls 6 and below, totally do this.

Rejection is a HUGE blessing. Rejection makes you unreactive over time, which is the best way to attract a hot girl. You don't want to avoid hard rejection, you want to seek it out while playing to win. This is one of the main reasons why getting thousands of approaches in is so effective.

Giving girls responsibility is a recipe for failure. She doesn't want to feel like a slut and she doesn't HAVE to take initiative because she's a hot girl, she has a lot of suitors.

If you're interested in someone, don't leave it up to them to make a move. I've been in a few situations where I gave my number instead of getting hers. Never heard from them.

Anyway, I've given my number to a girl once, but I texted my number with her phone immediately, I'm not going to wait around for some girl out of the ten I just got numbers from to text me.

I always exchange numbers. I ask for hers, then call it right on the spot and help her enter my name into her phone so she's not receiving texts/phone calls from an Unknown Number.

this is how i always get in contact with people, if they actually enjoyed my company, then they will get in contact with me, if not, didn't lose anything
