I'm still fresh out of a really long term relationship. (~3 months out) I spent the majority of my 20's in a relationship, so I figured I'd start off "slow" with the online thing.

I've for sure gotten dates and have gotten laid. However, it's been more quantity over quality. I'm a stubborn and persistent mother fucker who doesn't give up easily. Still, I think I'm folding in the towel on the online thing. I don't think there's more progress to be made. I'll explain why in a bit.

I've had the worst few months of my life. Girlfriend left me, I got fired from my high paying tech job, and I've lost a few friends recently. I'm not here for pitty or anything like that. I know it's probably not the best time to be out looking for some strange, but I have to pick myself back up, and keep trying. I have needs that need to be met, I want to get laid, so that's what I'm going to do.

The thing with online "dating" that I can't stand is -- I'll message women, who I'm interested in, and I don't get responses at all. I get it, that's part of the game. However, in real life, if I do an approach, they'll at least chat with me for a minute. That'd be incredibly weird, if they ignored me flat out. If an approach goes "bad", I can get feedback, and learn from what did or didn't' work. Then adjust over time. Online, you most likely won't get a chance at all.

I feel like there's not really any more progress to be made online. Yeah it's easy, and yeah there are hundreds or thousands of women at the tips of my fingers, I could "chat" with. If I can't get feedback and improve what I'm doing. I just don't see the point in investment more of my time. I'm persistent and all, but sometimes I think there's a time to fold em.
