EDIT: Sometimes women say things that just happen to be shit-testy. But I still consider them shit tests.

You're overthinking a very minor detail that ultimately doesn't matter all that much.

IMO, her calling you innocent isn't a problem. The real problem is that you're overanalyzing something that really carries no significance. It's essentially putting her on a pedestal. Well, it's not really a problem. Just something to keep in mind.

Innocence in itself isn't a good or bad thing. Like with pretty much all traits, if you're genuinely confident about it and you own it up, you're fine.

It could be a shit test, and the right way to respond would have been: "Hey, don't be afraid to test the waters..." or something like that. But, in all honesty, I think she's not interested. Every girl that has told me that I look innocent has not wanted to date me. I personally think its a nice way of friend zoning you (aka, establishing the parameters of the relationship) without explicitly saying that you guys are just friends because that's too douchey. Nothing can be done now, move on.

Ok we're you trying to act like a bad boy??? shittests are a conscious or subconscious thing women do to see if you are how you are presenting your self. They are trying to see if you are just bravado raped up in a façade, or if you are the real deal.

the better term for them is congruence tests. They are trying to see if you realy are congruent this the way you are acting.

This probably was not a real shit test. So I would not give her shit back. But a good way to reply (that could also pass a shit test) would be like

"Yah it's awesome! I get away with chromes all the time because the jury never finds me guilty!"

Or

" yep I still ware my purity wrong to church!" (That one is not that great. But you get the picture.)

What u are doing is agreeing and amplifying. You take it to a point that is so outrageous that it is obviously not true. So you get to be unfazed and dismis the topic with out being rudish.

The key is to not act fazed or butthurt.

I would just laugh! I am not the kind that does anything illegal! and I look it.

But I might have said something like:

Her: You don't give off the vibe that I do anything crazy or illegal.

Me: (playfully) Is that what you like?

Her: (doesn't matter)

Me: (shout out loud! and point to her. playful teasing her.) Looks like we got a gangster over here!
