For a while now, I've been reading TRP and getting pretty interested in the ideas discussed here. However I've also had mixed feelings. Like many, I didn't want human society to be as biological as it is. I wanted to hold on to the illusion, and I was afraid that becoming full-on TRP would make me a misogynist. I'm over that now, and what pushed me over the edge is sort of hilarious.

My employer holds an annual internal technical conference that attracts a couple thousand people. For obvious reasons I won't name any names, but let it suffice to say we're a major international engineering corporation and theoretically, this is a pretty serious event. Lots of suits, lots of presentations, very technical topics, and very competent engineers.

Here's the thing: Alongside the suits I have seen multiple women (full-grown, non-adolescent, engineering women) wearing dresses that look like this. I am completely flabbergasted by this. These women have Master's degrees in engineering, and they are standing here in front of posters with all kinds of technical jargon, talking about advanced topics as if we're supposed to be listening, when obviously that is not their goal. A piece of clothing like this serves exactly one function. It cannot possibly serve any other.

What is blowing my mind here is not the fact that women are sluts --- I already knew that --- but the realization that they probably take themselves completely seriously. I have no doubt in their own minds there is some kind of insane rationalization for why the dress needs to be cut open right at the cleavage and absolutely nowhere else. Furthermore they probably completely believe that they are competent engineers, and that that's why people are listening to their presentations. The amount of hamstering that must be required to rationalize such an obviously sexual piece of clothing while simultaneously insisting that women in the workplace should not be objectified is entirely beyond my comprehension --- but the hamster works in mysterious ways.

tl;dr: Women 'engineers' are hilarious and I am Red Pill now.
