I always have a bottle of red wine and a bottle of white wine at my place just for this purpose. I also like to keep a bottle of Fireball just in case she's a more wild party girl and wants to do shots. Most women don't like shooting straight whiskey, vodka, or tequila (unless it's a dressed shot with salt and lime). But Fireball is sweet-tasting enough that many women don't mind shooting it. You can also use Jagermeister, just make sure you keep it ice cold because room temperature Jager tastes gross.

Or, if I know the girl's favorite cocktail, I'll make sure ahead of time to have all the ingredients at my place just in case we end up back there.

You could also watch a film on a laptop. I did this once and it works well because the smaller screen encourages the two of you to move close. You could say 'Hey lets go back to my place and spin some vinyl' or 'I have a great bottle of... we should try some of it'. Another option is to play some board games or look at some photography books, etc. If shes a gamer girl you could invite her to play xBox.The sky is really the limit. If shes into you really won't need much of a carrot to draw her in. Haha in England the brits will say 'You fancy coming in for a coffee or tea?' Excuses excuses...

During the date I start up a convo about board games. For me, scattergories is my favourite and I've found that most intelligent babes like it too (but any game that you have and get excited about playing can work). As the date/connection warms up I invite them back to my place to play scattergories. It works.

I can tell you experimentally, no, they don't. Unless you're dating fundamentalist Christians or other people who think it's wrong to have sex.

I have never, ever, in my years doing this, ever met a cool girl who was worth spending time with, that needed "an excuse" to go to my place.

Now, you can be cute or whatever, and if you're like me, you take the opportunity to be clever or funny. "I have some laundry I'd like you to do" or something equally asshole-ish. That works for me because by the time I've invited a girl to my place, 95 percent of the time she's already made a decision about whether to have sex with me. Also, because I've established early on that I make stupid jokes like that all the time.

"Let's go to my place" is my go to excuse. She says yes or no. Either way, I know where she stands after that. After she's there, it's all escalation and consent and clear intentions and such.

If you're trying to hide your intentions, you're just making the whole thing HER responsibility to escalate. That's a big no-no. A girl will escalate if she wants to, but if you dump that responsibility on her, she's much less likely to.

How about not having an excuse? It should be clear to both of you that you want sex. "Want to continue this at my place?" should be all you need.
