Title says it all really. I'm trying to improve my direct game results.

I often follow up with 'how are you today' or 'what are you doing today?' But the problem is it all too often just becomes simply an exchange of information. 'I'm doing x, what are you doing?' 'Im doing X'. It is boring as fuck. But if you try and delve more into what she is doing it feels a bit strange I.e 'why does this stranger want to know so much about me?'

I would love to figure out a structure that stops it going into an exchange of information/interview type conversation.
