I always said, speaking slowly and dominant:

"If you don't stop me, I'm going to kiss you." while I brush over the top of her ear. If she doesn't stop me and I reach the nape of her neck, then I kiss her. If she does stop me, I joke, acting relieved, like 'phew' "Well played. That was a close call." If she laughs, I follow up with, "No, seriously! We could have ended up happily married!" So even if you don't get the k-close, you'll probably get the digits.

I can't get behind this technique at all.

I have a feeling you are at the stage where you would be mortified if you went for a kiss and it backfired. Something like that is hugely embarrassing and the kind of thing that can fuck with your head for a while, so I can empathize.

By asking a girl to kiss you, you remove yourself from influencing the situation at all and ,consequently, can absolve yourself from any blame if you don't get the kiss. I didn't get the kiss there because SHE didn't want to kiss me. It's a complete and total mental cop-out.

I see that you do get it to some extent; you say in your post that "women love men who know what they want", and that is 100% correct. If I'm into a girl, and I can tell she's into me, I don't ask her to kiss me. I don't ask to kiss her. I just do it. That's what being assertive and sexually confident is really like.

i think you have some good points. here is some of my perspective on part of what you're saying:

lots of guys feel the need to give the girl the EXPLICIT option to decline sexual escalation. and this is encouraged by e.g. “anti-rape” feminists.

if she says time to go, and you say “you gotta kiss me first”, you ARE NOT FORCING HER. she can decline. she still has the option to decline. i bet you she knows how to say “haha no thanks” or many other things.

this applies to other stuff too. if you say “pay me $200/hr for this”, you don’t have to say “or if that doesn’t work for you, you could negotiate a lower rate”. they have the option to try to negotiate a lower rate without you telling them. it’s not your responsibility to suggest to them that they counter-offer. and it’s not your responsibility to suggest to a girl you want to kiss that she consider the “no” option in addition to the “yes” option.

not EXPLICITLY telling people they can say “no” is not FORCE, it’s not RAPE, it’s not AGGRESSION. it’s perfectly reasonable.

bringing up the options you don’t want people to do just communicates you think there’s some reason they should or will seriously consider them. you are encouraging people to say now. you communicate there is something wrong with your proposal and/or you lack confidence and/or you are really passive/beta (it’s actually possible to be confident that saying “want to have sex? or also want to not have sex? your choice!” is the right and morally best thing to do. it’s very rare to be totally confident and say that, but a mix of partly lack of confidence and partly thinking it’s morally right is common.)

phrasing matters. if you think it doesn’t, then why do people resist saying “do X” instead of “would you like X, or not?” all resistance on this topic is because people are aware it matters. but it’s merely being assertive, not aggressive. it’s making a judgement about what should happen next and saying so, rather than asking the other person to decide for you. it’s good to make decisions yourself and doesn’t stop people from saying “no” if they want to. lots of people, especially girls in a dating context, would rather that you judge and they only have to think or take charge if a problem comes up, but by default you make good judgments and they go along with it. be the person who makes good judgments, instead of another person who is scared to think and decide and say so.

I think this is pretty lame, this isn't so much seduction as just being pushy. There's a big difference and this technique goes into greasy macho douche/rapey vibe territory, also is reminiscent of a scene in that Starsky and Hutch remake that came out years ago.

a disagreement i have is i think it's usually better to kiss her before she says she needs to go. that way you control events, instead of only kissing her in reaction to the stimulus of time for her to leave. it shows more confidence and control to take the initiative instead of waiting for the specific social situation of parting to justify a parting kiss. goodbye kisses are a helpful crutch, and it's fine to use them if you're newer or you didn't get a good opportunity earlier or she leaves before you expected, etc, but if you're doing well with girls then i would not aim to wait until she's leaving to kiss her in general.

Just because she doesn't want to kiss you doesn't mean she is uninterested. If you're just looking to have sex that very night then move on. But if you're trying to see her more, understand that some girls just feel scared or are more slow-pace sort of people. Just like some of you guys get anxiety, so do they. This sounds thirsty. You have to kiss me first before I go? You sound needy. This doesn't work with girls that are secure and don't give a fuck about how you feel without their kiss for validation.

If you gamed well enough and she was receptive to it, you should be able to get the K-close without issue. If not (and it keeps happening), refocus on your technique and fix what isn't working.

2 of your 3 scenarios end in me as a reader having less respect for you, no disrespect, but it sounds like you just learned how to game or you're really young and inexperienced.
