As for your question, you don't need to tell her that. When the bill comes, you go for your money. Do so slowly. She'll either go for hers or she won't.

Then her behavior determines whether or not she gets another date, right? Most girls will move to pay their half without you having to do something tacky like telling them to. If she doesn't, then I guess you could tell her but this also means that you might not want a second date, on principle.

Girl. I'd like to split the bill. Be forward and upfront about it but very much depends on the situation so add some details if you post a question in the future. Can also let it get to the moment of paying and see how she acts in order to see her character and if she's someone for you. Just make sure to have enough money to pay for it all in case she acts like you should be paying and not her.

Pay for it. They are screening you for cheapness at the beginning, and you will fail and not see her again.

As my personal rule, the guy will always pay for the first date. If you can't afford it or don't feel like you should, I think you aren't ready. If you are reading all those DLV tips, I can tell you that they are less relevant in dating scene compared to PUA.

And, I always judge the character of the girl based on whether she offers to pay for her own or not. If the girl does not offer, I would not likely wanna pursue a relationship with her.

If are insistent on your way, when the bill comes, just put up your share of the money. You will likely not get a second date.
