Generally speaking, chicks dig scars. My personal experience as well as theoretical framework seems to confirm this.

The only catch is if you have like a recent and/or super gore-y scar, like your stomach is held together with staples, or like massive burn scars or big pieces of your body missing.

I think you're good buddy. Don't be surprised if a girl looks at it funny, but that's not necessarily something to get nervous about. The only scars more macho/sexy than an old chest scar are bullet holes.

Nope, I (F) have seen some scars during sex that were big and small, and it really doesn't matter in the end. Are you making her feel good, are you being confident that you are going to have a good time, are you looking to make she is taken care of (read orgasm), etc.? If so, it is all good.

ETA: If it matters that much to her, you can find better. Trust me.

Had a hernia surgery i have maybe a 4 inch scar in my pelvic region and well I shave so you can see it when you're down there. Never had a complaint about it, and well it's never been brought up when a girl takes off my pants

Normally I think it usually doesn't phase girls at all or they don't care

Hi there, I can say from personal experience that scars are not a turn off....well not for me anyways. When my boyfriend was a few years old he had to have his chest sliced open and get some stuff popped down to where they should be and he has a pretty big scar that runs under his pecks. We have been together for 5 1/2 years now and it has not once turned me off. All it does for me is make me wonder silly questions sometimes like "does the scar still hurt?" Even though I know it doesn't so I poke it to name sure and "I wonder if he thinks I'm checking out his "boobies" or his sweet scar" it's both 😉. I wouldn't worry to much about it, he sees as something that saved his life from years of pain, and he could careless what others think. I think thou should also!

Not at all. I've got some somewhat gnarly shrapnel scarring on my right arm and shoulder, and a straight-through bullet wound in my left calf from a different incident. From my experience, chicks dig a good story, and also like a body with its own story to tell.

Its not very likely but some girls might get freaked out and wonder if they excite you too much you might die. They will wonder if it hurts if they touch it etc. If you have insecurity about the scar make a funny story about it and bring it up in conversation long before you are in the bedroom. If you are comfortable to talk about it and make fun of it she won't get freaked out when she sees it in the bedroom.

Make it part of your life story. A funny anecdote about your life rather than something you are ashamed of or worried about. It makes you more interesting as a person. Turn your insecurities into strengths.

or just tell her you are a ninja.

Chicks dig scars bro! Well, I can't speak from experience... But it's a great opportunity to tell the story of how you got it. It portrays something you've been in and you can frame it in a way you like, perhaps you were scared & overcame it (obviously in this case seeing as you were 3 days old you wouldn't remember, but you could talk about it and perhaps tell the story of how your parents were so scared or something). Or you could make it a completely bogus story and mess with her a little bit, THEN do the former.

I have had over 200 stitches and over 30 staples, some on the face even. I have never had a problem. I have even turned it into a game, can you find all my scars? To me Scars are my tattoos, stories and memories.

No, just like everyone is saying.

But since you feel the need to ask the internet people about it I assume you are selfconcious about your scar.

You got your scar during surgery, a man cut you up, fixed you right and put you back together. You survived that (pretty big) trauma. Possibly you are ALIVE because of that surgery. It is YOUR scar so it is part of YOU and the girl likes YOU. Therefore she also likes the scar.

Scars don't matter.

I think I read or heard this somewhere: Scars are questions that haven't been asked yet.
