Hey guys,

I won't bother giving out my life story (since nobody wants to read that wall of text) but here's a brief summary of what I'm working with:

-22 y/o male college student, majoring in criminal justice

-Never kissed a girl, been on a date, blah blah blah you've heard that before. I'm not whining or seeking out pity, just thought I'd point that out for context.

-Limited vision thanks to an un-correctable/inoperable optic nerve disorder. It's not degenerative, just stuck where it is now.

I've been lurking this sub for about two weeks now and starting tomorrow I'm going to try my hand at cold approaches. Just simple stuff like "Hey do you know where this building is?" or "Where's so and so's office at?". Mostly I'm just doing this to build up my confidence talking to women in the first place, since as it stands right now I basically freeze up and look like a fish out of water when I try.

But here's the other issue I'm dealing with: Thanks to my oh-so-shitty eyes, I don't have a driver's license. I /could/ get one, but it would probably take around a solid year assuming I can find someone who'd be willing to let me drive with them. So until then, I'm car-less.

I commute to class/work every day by bike so I'm in pretty decent shape and know the town well. But once I pick up the pace and (hopefully) start getting numbers/dates, what's the best way to deal with not having a vehicle? I posted a similar question on r/askwomen and the answer across the board was "Nope, I'd never date someone like that. Deal-breaker."

Obviously that kinda destroyed whatever shred of confidence I had left, but can anyone here offer me some advice on how to work around it, or just tips in general? Thanks in advance, peace!
