Do what comes naturally and get it out of your head that she is "stunning". I am sure she has some habits which you wont like and vice-versa.

Do your thing, talk to her on/off, say what comes to your mind. If you feel like telling her you like her say it in a playful way and make sure you don't have oneitis. Might get tested here, simple answer to any question in that direction: Lets get to know each other.

Girls like a bit of maturity, especially ones which are always chased. Talk, flirt, smile like she is the girl you would sleep with in an instant but only in that instant. Other things crowd your mind other than thoughts of her.

If things blow up in your face and she doesn't give you attention, don't bother too much about it. Be your fun self. Sooner/Later people like to come back and talk to the fun person who didn't really get weird when things didn't work. It also gets you respect as the person who didn't bother/get oneitis when things didn't work.

Oh..forgot to add: never think or say your ex was average, she was with you and must have been awesome else why would you be together in the first place. Again shows maturity.

i do have a couple tips but first and foremost don't get too hungup on this one girl. if you're gonna punch above your weight class you have to accept that you'll get more misses than hits. just the way it is.

1) you do NOT tell her that you like her. you ask her out. specifically you ask her to tag along while you're doing something you'd do anyway. if you're talking to her and she says she needs to go to target later or whatever just be like "oh me too, let's go this afternoon" or if you're talking to her after class be like "hey let's get a coffee, i need one". you're just cruising along living your life, and she's welcome to join you.

2) you do need to indicate interest but you don't need to explicate it. do it through touching her, teasing her, and subtly joking about it. you DO want her to know that you like her and find her attractive, but don't make it too serious and don't do it in a way that requires a response from her. just SHOW her that you like her and see how she reacts.

3) the magic recipe is being cocky & funny. like if she says "you're cute and sweet" you could say something like "can i quote you on that next time someone calls me a total asshole?" or "you forgot charming and handsome" or "you'd never believe it, but i often get accused of being sweet to beautiful women". too much cocky and you're another d-bag, too much funny and you're friend-zone material. hit it right on the money and you're golden. if you're interacting with her and she's laughing while playfully hitting you and/or calling you a jerk then you're doing it right.

also - dress nice and carry yourself with confidence. body language is SO huge. good luck!

Firstly the language you're using sounds like your putting her on a pedestal "i'm an average looking guy" a "very beautiful girl", it's quite clear you believe she has more value than you... Fix this.

Secondly "sweet" and "cute" are not words you want to be hearing from a girl... Girls think bunny rabbits are sweet and cute, they don't fuck them. Think of anything or anyone sweet and cute and ask yourself... Do girls fuck them? I think it would make you more attractive if you had more of an edge, were more badass and gave less of a fuck.

But ultimately you need to approach more girls. If you approached more girls you wouldn't care so much about this one girl and you would know what to do - escalate verbally and non verbally, get her number, invite her on a date

Believe it or not, I've been in this situation a few times. I would suggest very subtle flirting and not actually admitting that you like her, but making obvious jokey hints e.g. if the subject comes up of if you think she's nice, attractive, sexy or why guys like her, say something along the lines of "meh, you're okay I guess" in an obviously flirty way and if a wink wouldn't be awkward, I would suggest adding one for affect. I'd recommend that you discard some of the normal advice given on here, because younger girls (sub-20) don't respond well to being upfront. You should be aggressive without being too direct in your intentions. And most importantly, don't give a fuck.

This is when an abundant mind needs to come into play.

You sound like you have a bit of a scarcity mentality right now. Your putting all your focus in one girl and your a bit scared of fucking it up that it's tempting you to get a bit overwhelmed.

First off, you mention that you recently broke up with your girlfriend. If it's something that was serous and you both were together for a while, I recommend not dating at all right now or start looking for a rebound. Allow yourself to slowly heal. Take this time to work on yourself and prove to yourself that you can be happy whether you have a girl in your life or not.

If it wasn't that serous, and your over your ex girlfriend already, I would keep my options open and pursue multiple girls at once without lying about it. Abundant mentality.

This is completely ok until you actually decide to make things exclusive with one girl after seeing multiple girls already. Girls do this often, ESPECIALLY the hot ones. That girl your pursuing is probably fucking a few of the guys that are already pursing her. Nothing wrong with that unless she is cheating on a guy she initially made things exclusive with.

Anyways, the main lesson to get from here is to not make this one girl your main focus. Things almost always go down hill when a guy is putting all his eggs in one girl that is "the turbo hottie" because she will eventually detect the desperateness in a guy.

Now to stand out with this girl, find something really genuine about her and tell her about it. Ideally it's something that she had to work to get. It could be her drive about something, a characteristic, or a recent accomplishment.

When you say it, don't just be generic about it, find a way to say it genuinely.

"Sweet" may mean she's already looking down on you. That's a word they use when their 6yo nephew makes them a valentine.

I know exactly how you feel, which is why I'm getting right to what I think is the point: You are already attached to the outcome you want from this situation. It's no wonder you feel desperate. You think you will have failed if she doesn't return your affection.

This is kind of like walking into a car dealership having obsessed over owning a particular model. The salesman will sense that and take advantage of you. You will pay way more than you would have if you had made it clear that you were willing to walk away at any moment.

That metaphor isn't perfect because she always has the option of turning away from you. And in order to feel confident, you have to be ready to accept that possibility. (It's also respectful. No woman owes you her affection.)

She's right for you -- and you're right for her -- or not. You can't control the facts. So just approach and talk as if it's not terribly important to you whether she likes you or not. Get to know her a bit, and let her get to know you. Then ask her out. If she says no or makes an excuse, that's that, and move on.
