1) Kino > flirting > lots of silent moments/lock eyes on her lips, when she asks what's up, tell her she has nice lips. Easy breezy from there.

2) Play the awkward penguin. A while back I was out with this girl and we're sitting at the bar, she's showing me funny texts her friend sent her, typical shitty female humor, etc. I said "Are you gonna put that down soon?" "What? Why? I thought you liked funny memes!" "Because I've been trying to kiss you for 20 minutes now". Made out, sucked on her nipples and fingered her in the car, first date.

3) Current main FWB, I was uber shitty with kino at the time, didn't even touch her, but I've always been good at saying whatever comes to mind/not giving a fuck. Walked her to her car, hand on her upper back (pretty timid), then stopped a bit short, I said "Is that your car? Ok, I'm gonna walk you all the way to your car, you're gonna open the door, throw your bag in, turn around, and then we're gonna have our first awkward kiss."

4) Similar to #3, I also used "I'd give you a hug but I'm pretty sure this is the part where we start making out" successfully.

5) My first ever kiss-close was the old kiss on cheek trick. After you hug her goodbye (if you're only kissing at the end) lock eyes with her for a second, point to your right cheek, she'll give you a tiny ass kiss, do the other cheek next, lock eyes again, then go for the kiss. Can also just turn in, if she's going for your cheeks she knows you're turning in for the kiss.

6) Take charge, is what I'm saying.

Follow your gut instinct. You're a man. You have a biological imperative to mate with a women. Your body knows what to do.

Fell like you want to hold her hand? Hold her hand. Feel like you want to put your arm around her waste? Do that.

And when you feel the urge to kiss her arise within you then you best kiss her.

Your subconscious mind is aware of cues your conscious mind completely overlooks. Trust your gut instinct, and it will lead you well. This I can guarantee.

There are three main stages of touch that you'll want to go through to make the escalation seamless and not feel too abrupt. The first is friendly, like touching her arm while you're having a conversation, which you could theoretically do with anyone without it being weird. Once you've established that level, escalate to the next step by increasing the amount of touch (for example: leaning into her slightly if you're standing next to each other, putting your hand on her knee for a few seconds if you're sitting next to her). From there, it's much more natural to move into the first kiss by putting your hand through her hair and leaning your head towards her. Of course, as you move through the escalation you'll be gauging her response and making sure she's giving you the green light to move forward (smiling, learning into you, reciprocating touch, etc.). You know, before you write these questions you should probably read the side bar - you should also check out older posts. There are litererally 2 questions asking pretty much the exact same thing on the board right now.

Do you really not know the answer? Or do you just need it to be okayed by other people before you'll have the confidence to try it?
