So recently I have been reading a book on social anxiety and it has changed me. It describes why social anxiety exists and how to battle it.

After my recent rejection, on an approach I did terribly, I started looking into why I had such a hard time.

I kept running into one thing.

Fear.

The reason why you turn into a bitch when approaching a girl is because you are focusing on the worst outcome. You must find out what you are ultimately afraid and conquer even thinking about it.

Think of it as a ladder.

This ladder is extended several feet in the air against a tall building. Everything that you desire is at the top.

If you keep thinking about how high in the air the ladder is and the consequences of you falling you are never going to get to the top. In fact you might not even start climbing.

My fear is looking wierd.

I have the social skills to approach and carry a conversation I just have this wierd fear others will think I am wierd if I go up.

In the end I throw this thought process out and go in.

Lemme know if this helped.
