Working out is a good start if you aren't on that boat already. Of all the more alpha-esque Asian guys I know being pretty muscular is a common trait amongst them (sounds superficial but yeah being muscular will help any guy in general). And I know it's cliche and often thrown around often here but being passionate as fuck about something and having hobbies. Also working on your vocal projection. In a way this helps you out because any girl who has these stereotypes amongst Asian men built into her head will see you as much more unique etc.

Haha but no, I'm asian too. We get stereotyped a lot but the good stuff can be to your advantage - such as intellect or academic inclination, well kept and an attention to fashion, appearance etc, healthier - asians eat healthier, are more athletic etc - if you feel more comfortable with being goofy, I wouldn't change that. Asian women are submissive! That's one thing I had to change haha, so yeah it doesn't need to be detrimental. I remember when I was a kid, I was ashamed of being Asian and I let others make fun of me, and I would occasionally give even my own input on how I was just American. As an adult, I have pride in my ethnicity, and use being "exotic" to my advantage. The response is much greater when you can present your natural traits in a good way, and say, this is me, rather than make excuses. You don't want to change your inherent natural things unless you're talking about reforming say, a bad habit (i.e for me, one was biting my nails. Smoking. Chewing on pens. I quit!) There should be a balance between what you know to work or be regarded positively, and then what makes you feel the best, most confident, comfortable etc.

And hay, to be fair if you look at asian media, Americans are portrayed as fat, sloppy, rude assholes! Literally I saw one scene....A guy was getting chased by a drunk American who wanted to beat him up....

The Korean guy was walking backwards slowly, mocking him, and the American was panting out of breath, trying to run WHILE drinking a budweiser. Hahaha, just....seriously...

But yeah, again about the kdrama thing - I'm only half joking. It depends on how true to yourself you want to be...

in my younger years, when I was still shy and incapable, I tried finding people that are interested in asian culture. You're lucky these days, because it's not all about nerds, and especially if I would say there's a cool group in asian pop culture for Americans it's Japanese and Korean. Japanese is more well rounded, you got video games but you also have fashion - Japanese fashion brought a lot of sexy trendy white girls in.

I want to say Korea is more popular right now BECAUSE of kdrama. And the best part, is they are pretty much primarily gonna be female fans, kdrama is getting big and yes they may be considered metrosexual by our standards but, definitely big "alpha male" mentality about what makes a hot korean guy = alpha, rich, athletic, CEO of some big company most likely, fashionable...

I hate it if I'm sounding too stereotypical or whatever, I'm just saying, you gotta find out what you can make work for you.

I'd say it's all bullshit but being an asian girl, I swear it works man there was even a time years ago in my first apartment I moved out of state, and I wore like an exotic wrap around my body, and for fun at the beach once I spoke with an accent and in my family's language and no one doubted it for a second. I was quite the exotic jungle cat, I swear - anyways that was just for a joke. Please don't go out playing deceptive pranks like that haha... my point is, there is a degree of things you can and want to change, and there are things you can't.

you're korean. you can't change it. You can find a way to make it work, for YOU, which will increase confidence - and like everyone's saying, that's where its at.

The only asian guys I know who get lots of tail are DJs or artists. Do you live in a city? Become involved in the music scene in some way if you have talent or a good ear. Girls love DJs that play at raves, clubs, good parties.

Also, you want to drop that "I'm totally random" shit right now. When I hear someone say that, it's cringe worthy. Being random makes you look uncalibrated and like a child.

Try not to think of how you can be more alpha. Try to think how you can be someone people want to be around, in a way that makes you feel respected. Think less of becoming an alpha, think more of becoming a leader.
