How can you tell if youre an attractive guy?

I rarely ever go clubbing and that would be an easy way to tell but otherwise how can you tell if girls are attracted to you?

Do you notice a trend of stares when you're in public or what? Do random girls on the street smile at you because you're attractive? Do they approach you?
