Dont try using legal terms. Speak normally as a regular person trying their best to navigate this and listen to the other advice you got here.

If youre going to cite something. Make an exhibit. Then cite the exhibit. She wrote you an email and said this and this. Bring the entire email, not just what was said.

Court manners 100%. Say good morning your honor, yes your honor. Don’t interrupt anyone. But don’t be afraid to make your case. Your honor may be allowed to speak to this?

Make sure you have all the evidence in 3 copies. Judge, you and the ex.

NAL. From my experience, be careful about making claims that you don't have evidence to prove, otherwise the judge might think you're being dishonest/deceiving. Also, expect her to make claims that the judge will believe with zero evidence.

Don't get emotional, the judge will likely hold that against you; expect her to use emotions to manipulate the judge.

Most importantly, don't lose your cool.
