Glancing at your post history was incredibly sad. My heart goes out to you. While I am a huge proponent of fighting for your marriage it seems like you have been desperately trying. Unfortunately, your husband is an abusive alcoholic and serial cheater. A marriage takes two committed people and often you can't force the other half to do what they need to do.

I'm not saying that divorce is the only option, but I do believe you need to at least be getting your ducks in a row to make the divorce process as seamless as possible to protect yourself if it comes to that.

I think marriage is important but your relationship with your husband is one-sided. You have one life on this earth to live and I think it would be a shame if you wasted it suffering with someone who does not respect you or treat you or himself well. I have seen plenty of women and men end toxic long term marriages and remarry to someone who appreciates them.

If your husband was genuinely interested in fixing his ways you should expect him to enroll in an AA program, anger management program, become sober, find a job that he does not need to travel, and cease all inappropriate contact with other women.

I know we shouldn't say leave him as the first thing but I struggle to see why you are with this man. You have posted many times about him and there is not a single redeeming quality about him. Now I haven't ever been married so take it with a grain of salt.

He is showing literally 0 positive emotions towards you, i just don't get it why you would want to be married not even to a wall but a literal abuser? If you have kids (but i guess not because i havent seen you ever mention it) it would help me understand more but even then...

You might be with him because you think you can't find someone better but you actually can because I can't think of someone worse than him other than the obvious? Or you're worried about your biological clock, but do you really want to have kids with this kind of man?

I've never believed infidelity would be an immediate end to my marriage. People can work through that. One moment of weakness is not the same as repeated deliberate incidences of cheating. You can't change him. If you can get to a place where you can accept his cheating if he's discreet... well, people do that. Otherwise, I think your only other choice is obvious.

Leave, and I mean it. That guy is not going to change and the only thing you really are doing by sticking around is signaling him that you will stay through all the shit he's doing to you, I watched your post history. I'm a conservative men, I do not like divorce but at this point it's about self respect. If he wants a good wife he should be a good husband, I hate cheaters it's just such a weak fucking thing, he's a no good idiot, just move on!
