I just want to say if my female friend came up to me and revealed she was just SAd and the first thing I said was

“Hey man not all men are like that”

That would be fucked. But that’s not the scenario I’m talking about

But if they came up to me and complained how shitty men are. “Not all men” is a perfectly okay argument. They always try to skewer their words and say “ugh I didn’t mean ALL men!” But they literally just said “I hate men” that solidifies to me as all men.

They’re evil men out there I wouldn’t mind I going back in time and tap out but to be compared to these monsters makes me feel shitty and destined to be an awful person. If you were trying to focus the discussion about the bad things that are happening to women then why are they just being blatantly sexist?

If a girl came to me revealing that a guy did something bad to her. I would want to help her and listen but when they sneak in these misandrist comments it makes me not want to be around them. And then we continue to be segregated because we both hate each other because it’s us vs them and nothing gets solved.

If I went on Twitter right now and complained that a woman did something bad to me and then said “god I hate women”. I would get bombared with “don’t blame all women for this one girl as an excuse to be a sexist incel!” And tbf that’s right. Why the fuck am I blaming all women for one person?? That’s sexist.

But for some reason it’s completely socially acceptable to do it the other way around. I’m not going to say why are women like this because it’s not all women. And I will not fall into this shallow us vs them mindset
