Men have had their balls squeezed by drunk women, sexually assaulted in other ways, but you won't hear "not all women" because women as a group aren't told to take accountability for the actions of some women. Yet feminists would prefer if men took accountability for the actions of some. I just see bigotry and hypocrisy honestly. Where is the compassion for men who were sexually assaulted by women? Why do feminists pretend it never happens to men? We never hear about women who commit crimes against men, because feminazis either support it or will pretend it doesn't exist since it defies their narrative.

Obligatory comment pointing out it is ONLY men who get shouted down when we use the defense “not all men.” Black people commit the most violent crime, but unequivocally “not all black people” is rightfully accepted as a rebuttal. But for some reason men are held to account for the actions of every other man, pretty much in history.

So, I can understand when a woman has one or more negative experiences involving a man or a few men and because of that she is now defensive around men..
Perfectly acceptable reaction..

What I don't agree with is the fearmongering of "I was raped by a man and therefore we should treat all men as potential rapists!"

All that does is spread fear and tarnishes men as a whole..
And for those men who have never and would never rape anyone it hurts to be lumped into a group based on the immutable characteristic that is our gender.

What also hurts is the blatant double standard..

Women who have had negative experiences and use those to justify being wary of men are called "Brave" or "Empowered"

But when men who have had negative experiences with women (Raped, Falsely Accused of rape, assaulted, divorce raped, Paternity Fraud, etc) and say "Because of my experience I find myself being cautious around women"
They often get called a misogynistic incel or told that what ever happened to them is no where as bad as what happens to women...

Source: In my youth I was physically, mentally and emotionally abused by a woman who was in a position of power and control over me.. my first boss also got physically and mentally abusive towards me.. as a result I find myself being cautious around women... whenever I bring this up feminists attack me and call me an incel for thinking that way.. or tell me "Not All Women!!!" and that only incels think all women are like that..

It's not "Not all men". It's "so few men". Any time studies on perpetration are done, they always find results in the same ballpark: 2% of the men they found were utter sociopaths who not only reveled in what they did, but admitted to ~90% of rapes and around ~60% of all nonsexual violent crimes admitted in said study.

Depending on the proportion of violent crimes to sexually violent crimes, this means you have a 2% sized handful of Fucked In The Head multirecidivists admitting to somewhere between ~90% of all violence (if almost all violent crimes are sexually violent crimes) and ~60% of all violence (if sexual violence is vanishingly rare compared to nonsexual violence). That's not a "not all men" number, that's a "so few men" number.

This also mean that if a woman learned to identify these people reliably, and avoid them, she'd effectively drop her odds of being raped by an order of magnitude and her odds of being the victim of nonsexual violence by more than half. Would it be better if these violent multirecidivists didn't exist? Yes, but unless and until you have a solution for their existence that's not worse than the problem, and can actually be implemented realistically, we're going to have to plan around the fact they exist.

I was SA'd 6 years ago and sexually harassed at school many times by male classmates, and I've never blamed all men. It's stupid to think that every single man you bump into is going to hurt you. In fact, many will try to protect you, even if they don't even know you at all. Hating men has become socially acceptable -if not even funny-, and that sucks. Men are even blamed for women not achieving certain goals, as if we still lived in the 1940's. Damn, I even work for an "inclusive" company where a 60-year-old guy was trying to get close to me and when I told my boss he only got a warning.

You are clearly right that her statements are sexist. If I said "I don't like the Irish because they steal. Not all Irish!", the bigotry is clear. However, I think confronting her would just make her dig in her heels. Try being gentle and direct.

For example, in this situation:

If a girl came to me revealing that a guy did something bad to her. I would want to help her and listen but when they sneak in these misandrist comments it makes me not want to be around them.

I would respond with:

That's disgusting. I'm so sorry you went through that. But... Men aren't shitty. I'm a man and I would NEVER do something like that to you. It's TYLER specifically that's shit.

Maybe not in those exact words, but it's important that 1) you demonstrate empathy and 2) you make it clear that she is solely responsible for the people she allows to have a relationship with her. Help her see that she needs to spend more of her time with better people.

I think that by being a good example of a man, perhaps she'll overcome her terrible mindset.

Of course this is only if you think she's worth it. I'm a big believer in MGTOW and I am extremely judicious with the people I associate with. I'll give them opportunities, but I'll also severely limit my interaction with them if I feel I need to protect myself. I suggest you do the same.

Honestly the “not all women” and “not all men” thing bothers me. Because it is all people. All people are potentially a threat. It’s safer to assume they will assault you than not to. It encourages situational awareness.

I’ve been assaulted by men and women. Women are worse by far in my experience. Assault by men is scarier, but women are entitled and gross because they’re women and don’t see themselves as a “threat” so they do what they please.

I’m not saying to be scared and never go outside or whatever. I’m not even really saying to actively be frightened of all people. But it’s important to keep this stuff in mind. You don’t know what anyone is capable of.. and it really sucks to find out.

I try to break their spirits with this argument.

"It's very few men doing these atrocities. It's not the majority, but the reason why it seems to be a lot more is because those evil men are getting more and more crazed. The reason for this is that friendship and kinship today follows capitalist logic. It's transactional. In the past, reasonable men would remain acquainted with the school bully and over time have this soothing effect over him. Both sides of this coin fall to the fact that misandry is accepted and misogyny is not. If a woman was sexually assaulted and her immediate response was "all men are evil", that would still be misandry because it's not "men" who assaulted her, it's one man. By rights, she should be called out for her misandry, and held accountable for going down that path of reasoning, but we are also told that a woman's personal emotional state is more important than the harm she causes onto others as a result of that emotional state, especially if the ones she harms are men. This is another aspect of this "girls will be girls" attitude that a lot of people have when women are being emotionally destructive.

You can also see this same problem in women's shelters, where it's still viewed as standard policy to not allow battered men into the building because this narrative of "your abuser isn't the problem, men are the problem" is fully enabled and legitimized. There is no real reason for shelters to actually be gendered, but they are because it allows governments to spend those resources on more women, at the expense of men, and because no one is actually willing to address the issue of socially accepted misandry or androphobia.
