A new research paper is being hotly debated in psychology and feminism this week:

Sexist men show a greater interest in “robosexuality,” study finds

As usual, the agenda clearly takes precedence over science, with the aim of demonising male sexuality. Here are some of the key points:

1/

The male cohort is ridiculously small, possibly only 45 heterosexual men. Anyone familiar with the basics of statistics will tell you that any study with only 45 participants is completely worthless. However, this problem is deliberately obscured and you have to dive deep into the study to spot it.

2/

When the researchers discover that sexist men are more interested in robosexuality than sexist women, what they really mean is that men who are sexist towards women are more interested in robosexuality than women who are sexist towards women. No, I'm not joking.

3/

The measure of participant's sexism is a feminist horseshit in the first place. The research uses this scale to assess one's level of hostile sexism towards women: https://emerge.ucsd.edu/r_2avmblyyi1y5jfy/

  • You don't like feminism? Then you are a sexist! (yes, r/ToxicFeminismIsToxic)
  • You prefer your answers to be technically correct (all vs some)? Then you are a sexist!
  • The whole scale positively correlates with heterosexuality as a whole. Asexual people will simply score lower.

The most important question we need to address is motivation: why do "scientists" produce fake research on top of fake research? The answer is simple: it pays. Researchers know very well what kind of papers will be cited and what kind of results will further their careers. As long as there is a demand for the demonisation of men (and specifically the demonisation of male sexuality), the broken, illiberal academia we have today will produce "scientific evidence" to satisfy that demand.
